We just heard Let Me Roll It twice, with music only, no Paul singing, and and a couple of bits of Foxy Lady after the second playing. People were wandering around the arena, so I don't think it was the sound check. When we got back to our hotel, we heard bits of Helter Skelter. The town is beautiful. Wore out my camera battery taking photos! Saw lots of Beatles and McCartney t shirts!! Can't wait for the show!!
Have a GREAT time eveyone!

Found best listening the soundcheck was in hotel bathroom! lol we didn't have to get wet! Does anyone know what the soundcheck setlist was? We were having pizza just outside but couldn't hear from the cafe. I hear cheering now, going to wander back to the stadium. It's so magical hearing Paul play in this beautiful ancient forum!! What a beautiful city... Verona

The gap is huuuuuuuuuge between the stage and seats.

Thanks for the photo! looks fantastic. Verona is beautiful. have been there many years ago for the opera.

They could have put at least six more rows in front of the stage. Still, what a dramatic venue to see Paul, or any act for that matter. If I could pick one show to be at on this tour, Verona would have been it.

I agree! I can't think of a cooler place to see Paul!
-
I wonder why they did that? THAT really is OUT THERE! or BACK THERE! That is a huge space to the 1st row. at least it is a beautiful venue!

Yes I would say it is pretty bad...
oh no what's that? In Warsawa the first row was very close to the stage. I hope we get nearly the same here in Vienna. If not that would be very very disappointing.

That gap looks like it might be an orchestra pit or something. It looks sunken a bit. Maybe they couldn't put seats there.
-
It seems they lay down a "false" floor for seats and that leaves that big gap. Not Paul's fault: http://static5.depositphotos.com/1006774/408/i/950/depositphotos_4083651-Amphitheater-in-Verona-Italy.jpg

No doubt health and safety killed the idea of more seats

Honestly, I couldn't care less how many seats are at the concert. It was just an observation.

All considered, that's probably the best view of the stage, and the screens, that distance back. I'd take it!

I agree. I'd take those seats! I never said anything about health or safety. Not sure where that came from, meaning form the previous post.
