Where's Paul been lately?

I would assume most of the recordings would be done at his own Hogg Hill Mill Studio in Sussex as he's been doing (on and off) since the Nineties. It's cheaper than ****ing out money to rent a studio and he has the bonus that he can work at his own pace.
Thanks, johnnymain! That makes sense... It's a place that's comfortable and familiar for him, and no doubt dear to his heart... and why rent when you own your own studio. I've seen videos of the studio on YouTube... he did a tour of it for a program once, was very interesting, and shows Paul's great sense of humor.
and the video for Calico Skies (such a touching and lovely tribute to Linda!) was filmed in Sussex. As for the album, I'd imagine it's mostly done by now. I remember reading that a single was for the end of Spring and then the whole thing to come in Winter. They did give an actual month for the single but I can't recall now. And, I'm referring to Northern Hemisphere seasons, by the way. I've had to convert them in my head. I don't know how long the process usually takes but I'd imagine you'd record over a month or two then it'd stay in post-production for ages while marketing gets working which is the stage it's in now, I'd say.
Thanks, W. D. Stevens! Appreciate knowing how the process works... I guess it's sort of like making a film, you do the filming and it stays in post production for a long time, and then there's the marketing and distribution...
There's no such thing as crashing the convo here on our forum!
That's very true, JL4761. Forums are a wonderful place where many people can post at once, and still be read... not like a spoken conversation where only one person can speak at a time and be heard. And with spoken conversations you can never scroll back, lol.

Just wait. Apple's working on that.

He was in good spirits even with a bald spot? How can that be? I know this is some crappy British tabloid, but come on. Are we, as a society, so bankrupt of our humanity that an old man going bald is the worst thing in the world?
IMO the tabloid media and paparazzi are nothing but media schoolyard bullies who like to prey on the perceived weaknesses or flaws in others, then try to make money from that... very low and shameful really, especially when they feel they have to exaggerate the truth...

Is Apple working on a new recording device app that can record conversations and make transcripts? (Sorry if this has been in the news alot, I'm not up on latest Techno stuff, lol)

Well, that's what I'm basing my assumptions on as I am a filmmaker (albeit only a couple of years into my career) and it does take forever, shooting is comparatively the shortest part of the whole process. I'd expect the same is true of music. Funnily enough, my current project is a miniseries "inspired by" our man McCartney.

I understand what you were saying, but what in the world did they censor?

Well, in certain accents, 'fork' can come out a bit rude.

That's great, W. D. Stevens! I do internet work (part time) for an actor who does independent films. It's a wonderful medium. Good luck with your mini-series project, hope it can become a reality for you

How come "fork" wasn't censored in your above post?

Paul McCartney's site sure thinks a lot of words will hurt us, somehow.

Tonight will be the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, and also the BAFTA Awards in London. Paul isn't scheduled to perform or be at presenter at the Grammys, even though he's received a few nominations. "The Beatles: Eight Days a Week" also received a grammy nomination. "The Beatles: Eight Days a Week" was also nominated for Best Documentary Film at the BAFTA awards. Ron Howard decided to attend that event in London, rather than the Grammys. http://www.irishnews.com/magazine/2017/02/11/news/why-ron-howard-chose-the-baftas-over-the-grammys-929065/ Wonder if Paul will attend one of those events this evening, or if he's busy with other work at this time and won't be able to. If Ron Howard is in London now, seems more likely Paul would attend the BAFTAs, but we don't know if he's in London, New York or LA now, or somewhere else, so it would be difficult to predict.
