I love Sirius Radio. Being a product of the 60's and 70's I love some of their music channels with no commercials. Some of my favorites are channel 6 (the 60's) , channel 7 (the 70's) and channel 32 (the Bridge -- softer rock acts from the 60's and 70's). Anyway, I have noticed over the last few weeks that Channel 7 (the 70's) have been playing Paul's "Getting Closer" as part of their regular rotation. I have probably heard "Getting Closer" 5 or 6 times now in this time span. And that is just times when I have been in my car and that is always random. I must say that Getting Closer sounds really good on the radio. Hopefully, the same channel might start playing some other Macca songs (non big hits) in the future. I could certainly give them some suggestions. Wondered if anyone else has heard Getting Closer on Sirius recently. Finally, I would love if Paul had his own Sirius channel like Springsteen, Sinatra etc.

Hi, Like you, we LOVE Sirius Radio! If it were not for Andre Gardner, we would no longer be listening outside of SiriusXM. I cannot confirm a specific channel as my children are often changing the channels, but yes, we have recently heard "Getting Closer," and it was just played this morning! During the last month or so, we have been hearing much more Paul than usual, some of which we were quite surprised to hear. In no specific order, we have recently heard the following: "Getting Closer" "Mamunia" "Maybe I'm Amazed" "Listen to What the Man Said" "Let Me Roll It" "Junior's Farm" "Jet" "Band on the Run" "Goodnight Tonight" "Hi, Hi, Hi" "Live and Let Die" "My Love" "Silly Love Songs" "Arrow Through Me" "Bluebird" "Helen Wheels" "Let 'Em In" "No More Lonely Nights" "With a Little Luck" "Venus and Mars/Rock Show" "Go Now" "Medicine Jar" As to Paul having his own Sirius channel, we would most definitely LOVE for this to happen!!! Are you aware that Paul has in the past had two temporary Sirius channels? If unaware, one was Paul's "Fireman" channel, running 14th February - 13th March 2009, complete with "Fireside Chats." The other was Paul's "Band on the Run" channel which ran from 29th November - 26th December 2010. Paul's legendary Apollo Theater performance on the 13th of December was broadcast live via his channel and various other Sirius channels. We could not stop listening and were so disappointed when these channels expired.

THANK YOU, (((((PAUL)))))!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=2726827#2726827 My children, especially my girls, had very much hoped "Appreciate" would have been aired on one of their Sirius channels (Hits 1, Venus, Z100/NY, The Pulse). They believed (and still do) that this song would have gone over very well with teens and young adults.

I refuse to pay for radio; besides my tv cable service which gouges us has radio stations. I listen to spotify, youtube & my own collection for music. I can listen to Paul McCartney 24/7.

I haven't listened to the radio for music for years..... for sport, yeah.... but, why would I listen to the radio for a chance meeting when I can just throw on any tune or tunes of my own making on many a readily available device?... same with TV and movies... I've got everyting I want at a fingertip.... It might make me very narrow, and not open to new things, but I'm happy enough with that. It's hard enough to decide whether to listen to Paul or John, or Paul and Wings, or Wings, or the Beatles...

I ditched Comcast cable a year ago, and I haven't missed it one bit.

We're living in an on-demand world now. If it's not on hulu, chances are, your favorite shows are streamed at their respective network's official site. Unless you're a big ESPN fan, there is no need for cable television.

And computers can easily be connected to televisions now. All you need is that cord that connects the two.

I know. I guess I'm just a "Luddite" in that respect. I just pretty much stick to my satellite TV and DVR unless I miss an episode and then will stream it online.

Sirius radio featured an all-Paul station a few years back, for a brief time, it was heaven --all Paul's songs including deep album cuts from all different eras of Paul solo were rotated.

Thanks, Triplets Love Paul! Will move around some channels, have heard some songs on the 80's channel and was delighted! I do remember the Fireman channel, that was my all time favorite!!! Really enjoyed the other ones you mentioned as well

THANK YOU, (((((PAUL)))))!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
