I did think the echo arena site would be a nightmare, you can still buy tickets from there but they're in the gods just glad i didnt have to go through that this morning, far worse than 2011 thats for sure.

Got my tickets this morning after a stressful half an hour on the echo website which was crashing from the minute the clock turned 10. Managed to get 4 tickets on the lower tier so I am veeeeerry happy! I stayed in Holiday Inn Express when I saw him in Liverpool on Christmas 2011. That is the hotel above the Beatles museum/experience attraction. Literally a 3 minute walk to the arena, our rooms looked directly out to the arena, the big wheel and overlooking the entrance to the Beatles museum so it was really nice. The hotel is lovely in general too!

I'm so happy I got tickets. Last time he performed in the Echo Arena I couldn't get tickets. I got them via the telephone lines......a very long wait but blooming worth it. I'm so sorry to those who weren't lucky. I hope touts don't benefit from this. I'm going to see him in London, Birmingham (where I first saw him perform live) and Liverpool. I'm so excited.

Maccaboard down, Liverpool Echo Arena website completely irresponsive... By the time the actual link provided started to work: "huge pre-sale this morning, last few tickets remaining. Tickets go on general sale tomorrow at 10am. We?ll keep you posted." I was in luck, being near to a lady much smarter than me, who found out the direct link just after the sale started: was able to bag floor, row 20-ish, middle. Furthest away I've ever been, but gotta settle for Liverpool. Happy.
Glad you got it sorted,im not a fan of floor tickets to be honest i prefer normally the blocks to the side of the stage but each to their own

Manged to get a ticket at 11.01 Row BB upper tier section 17. Paid top price but hey its Macca! So Birmingham and Liverpool sorted...Yey! So Happy!
-
No luck again! Just read about the scalper tickets. I also feel those tickets should be voided and resold. You just know that they are giving money back to the venue, in order to get all of those tickets available literally minutes after ticketing opens. It makes me so angry, I couldn't get a Stevie Wonder ticket for the same reason! PLEASE Do Not Buy these tickets! If the venues have blocks of empty seats they will get the message! It's robbery of the working people... Just SOOOO WRONG!

Had the hassle of failing to get a pre-sale ticket yesterday and failing to get one through the Echo Arena site, I have plumped to pay over the odds through Stubhub, funny how they can end up on there so quick ? But at the end of the day glad I am going D

Been a while since I was last on here.Just got a ticket for Liverpool in this mornings Echo Arena pre sale cock up.Took me 40 mins but well worth the stress.

Congratulations to those who bought tickets today! Was there a "will call" option to pick them up at the box office? At the pre-sale yesterday the only option was to have them sent in the mail.

There was. All kind of options really, from the free - probably UK only - mail option, to registered mail.

Nice! I'm assuming most people outside the UK chose "will call", including yourself?

We didn't have that option with the VIP packages. And I hear they don't assign our seats till close to the show. They charged us an extra 50 bucks for customers outside the UK.

It's really amazing to see all the people who suddenly can't attend the Liverpool gig and so now selling them for extortionate amounts (Obviously they're touts).

I understand. Will the "will call" tickets be available at the box office before the day of the concert or are customers only allowed to retrieve them on that day?
-
I had a ticket in row 11 of section 17 but let it go in hope of waiting out for a floor seat, which I'm not sure was a good choice or not. Fingers crossed tomorrow will go well for us trying to get one

When I saw Paul in Stockholm 2011 I had to pick them up on the same night as the concert. Shipping the tickets in advance wasn't even an option. I think I got them an hour and a half before the show started.
