Can Jackie add the National Trust part to her tour or does it have to be bought/ booked separately? xxxxx
the trust tour is cracking as you get to go in the house a good tip is to join the national trust as members get priory and I think but I'm not 100% that member get in free to all national trust properties http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/beatles-childhood-homes/ http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/membership/
You need to book the national Trust tour to see inside the homes. They have two prices for Nat Trust members and non-members. Joining nat trust would only make sense for locals. Book the boyhood homes tour now before they are all booked up the week everyones flying in. I'm booked for May 27th at 2:15 PM. Payed 24 pounds whatever the hell that is
25 quid is a pretty good price, though not as good as the Members price which it less than a tenner. On the other-hand, The Casbah Club tours range from £15 - £30 which aren't as good.

If anyone here is interested in taking the Fab Four Taxi Tour as a group of 5 (£11 per person), PM for details. 2 more places left in the group.

I'm in the group, as it's a very good price for a private tour.

Got tickets this morning! Very happy after the train wreck of the presale. They're not right up front, but the Echo isn't too big so it'll still be great! So excited to go! It's my first Paul gig, I've only ever heard the cds like Good Evening New York City. What is it like to actually be there?
Going to a Macca's gig is the best thing you can do in your life!
Most certainly is....
Hey Harley...what about your tickets for Oslo and Stockholm? Hoping you found the....

I still recommend going on the magical mystery tour as the coach/Charabanc/ bus they use is the same style and painted the same as the mine in the movie and it's a cracking experience it can be booked through the cavern website too http://www.cavernclub.org/the-magical-mystery-tour/

I have been on that bus tour and it is indeed worth it, especially if it's your first time in Liverpool. It's very fun and gives you a general idea of where the tourist attractions are. I have also done the National Trust tour, which is the only one that allows you inside the Lennon/McCartney childhood homes. It's an unforgettable experience, and you need to book it in advance. I have also been to the Casbah Club, on a tour guided by Vincent "Roag" Best, who is Neil Aspinall's son with Mona Best. He's a very nice guy who provides a lot of valuable information and you will be amazed by the place itself. Definitely worth it.

Not been on here in a while but had to share how happy I am that I've got tickets and will be going along! Will be my first time seeing Paul since the O2 academy in 2010! Still one of if not the best gig I've ever been to!!!

From the perspective of an audiophile (which I'm not), "Echo Arena" sounds like a rather discouraging name for a music venue.

Would it be the day of the concert or the day after that a boardie meet up would happen if it were organised?
I'm fine with either of those dates. I'm also hoping Paul will sing Mull Of Kintyre, as he did in december 2011.
that's my dream!! Now I can finally travel abroad, I'll hopefully get to hear it finally

I've see Paul twice (so far) - Glasgow in 2010 and Liverpool in 2011 and both times he's played 'MOK' so wondering if this is a good omen for the gig 28th May?
-
Nine weeks today we'll all be congregating in Liverpool for the gig. Doesn't seem that far away, eh?

Anyone interested in joining a private tour of Liverpool? Me and McFangirl have booked a private tour with Jackie Spencer who was recommended by a few people who have done her tour before for Friday, May 29th at 11 AM. Cost is 210 pounds divided by up to 5 people. (Plus tip I assume?) Trip is approx. 3 hours. Thanks http://beatleguides.weebly.com/private-car-tours.html

Have any other events been announced in Liverpool during the week of Paul's gig to take advantage of the extra tourism attracted by it? Perhaps a record fair, a Pete Best or Quarry Men concert, or some sort of mini-version of the August convention?
