TheCatInSatinTrousers:
The day is finally here! I managed to save up for the Hot Sound VIP package this time around and am so excited! This will be my 6th time seeing Paul and my first soundcheck experience.
You will love it! I've done it once, and so glad I had the experience. Hope everyone has a wonderful time tonight.!
-
With the forecast not looking so nice will there be a limo watch today? And if so where is everyone meeting?
-
A decent group of us braved the weather out back. He's here.

No one on Periscope??
I haven't seen any. Lots of tweets, photos, short clips, but no broadcasts.
-
all on Facebook so far..no other changes in the set yet besides the beginning
-
Maybe he just wasn't totally content with the set in NJ (i.e. "Temporary Secretary" and "LTWTMS") and he's using the two MSG sets as rotations for the double nighters.
-
I stand corrected as he did "We Can Work it Out" tonight and that was not done Night #1 at MSG...so I stand by my original theory, that he's attempting to do a different set every single night even if that means just one song is different.

Watching periscope....showed Jimmy Fallon in the audience before Birthday because it is his birthday and the audience sang Happy Birthday to Jimmy. By the way, people that periscope should not blurt out profanity. Jimmy Fallon's middle name does not start with an "F".

THE BEST Paul McCartney concert EVER!!! Great selection of songs...new light show and videos, the most wonderful, happy and appreciative audience, new and old friends, moments where time stood nearly still, or it proceeded in a slower, longer lasting timeframe than normal...really a perfect seat on the aisle. It was just amazing, like being with friends who were all into the same music, that you are!!! The merchandise was super awesome!!! Got a limited edition print for only $60. So many shirts, pins, bracelets, bags, hats, blankets, mugs, even Flower in the Dirt CD's I could have easily dropped a couple of hundred, if I let myself... Wow, I'm going to have trouble falling asleep, as I play it all back...heard a guy on the train, saying the same thing...The band was super awesome!!! they are so in sync with each other...the musicianship was extra special tonite, too!!!

Ditto to everything. Literally. Right down to having one of the best, if not the best, seats I've ever had at a Paul, or any, show; not being able to sleep (but that's always the case for me after these shows!); bumping into people on the train -- it seemed half of us getting off at my stop were at the show based on t-shirts, and I asked one guy if he was there and he said it was amazing and was positively glowing like I am.

Watching periscope....showed Jimmy Fallon in the audience before Birthday because it is his birthday and the audience sang Happy Birthday to Jimmy.
Jimmy was directly in front of me, exactly 4 rows ahead in the 12th row, next to Lorne Michaels. We all watched them come in, they got a big cheer, they stayed until the beginning of the encore, Jimmy, unsurprisingly, looked to be having a ton of fun even outside of his birthday tribute, and they got another bit of a cheer when they left. Jimmy was so directly in front of me that it was his head blocking a lot of my photos and videos! For instance, this one, where Jimmy's head is the one most blocking Paul: http://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4LqHri8Z8XQaWlpTHpGU3U3Tnc I think Kyle Mooney from SNL also walked past me about the same time as Jimmy and Lorne, but no one seemed to recognize him! Swear it was him.
