Paul, Maida Vale, BBC 6 Music & Radio 2: 16th Oct 2013
-
I am having trouble getting into the BBC from differing links. Buggers gone on strike again no doubt.
-
I got the no ticket email this morning shame but oh well no point worrying about it
-
So to summarise details of the second, BBC Radio 2, show: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00rr8bv/profiles/paul-mccartney

Direct ticket link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/shows/sir_paul_mccartney_2013 So two days to get your entries in. Again widespread coverage on the BBC:
Radio 2 In Concert You?ll be able to hear Paul McCartney?s Radio 2 In Concert from 8pm on Wednesday 16 October 2013, and for 7 days via the BBC Radio 2 website. We?ll also be bringing you video highlights which you can watch on the BBC Red Button, and here on the BBC Radio 2 website, from Friday 7 November 2013.
So not live on the day like the Radio 6 show - but as a recorded event may possibly allow Paul to give more than is broadcast???? - well, wishing anyway.... Good luck - again Martin

I received the email saying no luck too. I do hope the real fans get in and not some hit and hopers.
-
My Email said "no" too........................
-
I really wanted to go to this... has anyone been lucky?
-
A "no" e-mail to one of my friends (who promised to take me in case he wins) here as well I don't know yet about the other friend, he didn't write anything yet. I couldn't enter the drawing myself as you have to have an English address and I live in Sweden.
-
Let me just say that Radio Two is a wonderful station, jimmy young and wogan make my day.
-

Well the Radio 2 show promotion reveals the venue capacity - so far as fans are concerned - is only 140 and as they are being marketed in pairs that's only 70 chances - out of how many million? Sad but true... Martin
-
Got a No email for me and my wife as well!
-
I doubt the entire population of 60 million has applied for tickets (as suggested by Chris Evans this morning), but there are still going to be several million after 70 pairs of tickets, which is why the website keeps crashing. Yes, Paul is still popular in the UK.
-
I still haven't had a NO!!

If they follow the pattern of the morning session you'll get an e-mail for either yes or no. And it's the same BBC ticket unit so it should be the same. It took about one week from the close of the application process. But as this show is so much closer now they may be speedier than that this time round to allow attendees time to make arrangements.
