Back to the Egg trading cards [img]http://bonanzleimages.s3.amazonaws.com/afu/images/0519/3349/McCartneypromos_1.JPG
Love that Linda one!!
Yeah...doesn't her hair look wild? (in the good sense)
Yes, her hair looks great! Two great pics!!
These are the pics from the album sleeve, but yes, that is a great picture of Linda, much better than her look on the front cover!
They are also trading cards since they have all their "faves" on the back but could also be on the sleeve.
Sorry, no, I'm not denying they're trading cards, just noting that I know the photos. Very cool! Many times I saw the "Back To The Egg" sheet music book in stores and never bought it. How I wanted that!

Wow, it didn't even occur to me that they might still be in print. Thanks! I just remember as a broke teenager standing in record stores looking at that book, trying to memorize the lyrics to songs that were hard to understand, like "Spin It On", "Old Siam, Sir" (oh, it's Walthamstow!), and "So Glad To See You Here". Much later, there was a great website called T.U.B.L.A. (The Ultimate Beatles Lyric Archive) that was so nicely laid out, with all the Beatles and solo lyrics including live versions and everything ("Just the men, just the men!" on "Hey Jude", etc.), but it disappeared.

The chords in this book are WAY too hard for Calico Skies! Some of the other songs look easier. The latest Paul item I purchased is the audio CD "In His Own Words." Oh, and I also got the DVD "Desperately Seeking Paul McCartney"--what a hoot!
-
Never heard of that DVD. What's it like?

Rock Show Blue Ray. That was as close as I could get to go to the concert I never went to... I was 13 yrs by the time Paul came to Netherlands in 1976. But at that time most of my friends were into disco or prog rock like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd etc. Going to a Macca concert in my circle was not really considered to be a cool thing...going with my parents was also not an option. Concerning that times have changed ... recently I went with my 13-yr old daughter to an Alicia Keys concert (and enjoyed it ;)). Anyway, I didn't buy any tickets and that is one of those things I still regret not doing. A few months later I did see another cool concert when the Rolling Stones played in The Hague. The BR disc was very good, considered it was filmed almost 40 yrs ago....time flies!

Forgot to post last month that I'd finally purchased the Ram remaster -- and I am definitely seeing -- er, hearing --why this album is so beloved. I'm diggin' it -- big time!

I bought the Deluxe remaster of BOTR. Loving the book included. Worth every penny.
