A book titled "Paul McCartney Recording Sessions (1969-2013)". It's got details of all of Pauls post Beatles songs. Very detailed, a really good book. Well worth buying.

Best recent purchase ....VIP tickets to Paul's Chicago July 9th Concert...which includes sound check. In the past we always bought regular Paul concert tickets. Then....we treated ourselves to VIP tickets for two concerts in New York , then on his next tour we went VIP again, that was in Chicago. Last year in Wisconsin, we did not...got regular tickets. After last year's concert , we realized, once you go VIP, you just can't go back to a regular concert venue. Expensive no doubt , but so worth it. We call the VIP tickets, our vacation.

Just ordered the Paul McCartney Recording Sessions book. Amazon finally had it available. I have been wanting it for a while, but it was too expensive ordering it from Amazon UK.

Does anyone know if the merch stands supply poster tubes? I was going to buy a poster but did not know if I should bring my own tube or not.

I didn't buy it but my mom did she got me Paul's album "New" but what I do want to buy is that hoody with Paul's name on it on the online store! Gotta save up some $$$$$ for that though.

I recently got this book by Luca Perasi an Italian. A pretty good book but not as detailed as Mark Lewisohn's Beatles Recording Seesions book which gives details of how many takes were done and which takes were used for overdubbing and mixing for the master versions. Also the translation into English, from Perasi's original Italian, is sometimes a bit clumsy.

Helen Wheels was not included on original UK BOTR. Paul reluctantly agreed to have it on US album, because a marketing guy thouught it would help sales. He was probably right. The Australian release I first got included it also. I think it fits well with the rest of the album but it's the way I first remember it so I am used to it being on there.

As an aside, while you got it right (was not on the British version but was on the US version), I believe the track listing on the LP jacket did not mention the inclusion of Helen Wheels on the US version until later pressings

Helen Wheels is listed on the my original LP sleeve but you can tell it was altered because the font size is a bit bigger for Helen Wheels and last couple of tracks. It looks like they have done a bit of cut & pasting on master cover artwork . It is funny they didn't change track listing on early pressings in US as the inclusion of Helen Wheels, a US Top Ten 10 hit, was a sales boosting ploy. Maybe alot a covers were already printed by time decision was made.
