Watching the kid's enjoying Paul's concerts is great!!! I've brought my son since he was 8, he has always been a big fan. He has seen at least 12 of his show's. He's coming with me to the Pittsburgh show. I'm looking forward to seeing all the board members there.
LUCKY kid!! It's great to share Paul concerts with family. It's so special and something you always look back on!

Just got my exact seat....section 122,row T. Gotta say, I'm not too pleased...
Hey, we will be neighbors. I was disappointed too, but since that section is so close to the stage, I think they will still be good seats. It just seems really far away... But those were the best seats I could find; I very nearly got stuck with 202, which should have been the middle price in my opinion.
On Consol Energy Center's website they have a virtual seating chart that allows you to type in your section and row, and shows you your view from the seat. Should give you an idea of how it will really be... http://www.consolenergycenter.com/default.asp?consol=21&urlkeyword=Seating

Saw paul twice in cleveland in 2002. Got tickets to pittsburgh, and I'm bringing my 8 year old with me, she's really excited. Anybody else bringing their small children to pittsburgh to see Sir Paul?
I think it is awesome you are bringing your daughter! I would love to bring my son, but he is only 2, still too young. I agree with Martin, definitely get her some earplugs. My ears always ring after a show, I can't imagine how it would affect a child.
yeah, she's looking forward to it. She's been a Beatles fan since she was a baby and at 2 years old knew most of the Beatles songs and who sang it. Needlesss to say, I was so proud!

I'll be rocking out there by myself and so feel free to come up and say hello! I'm seat 11 I believe...You'll know me by my curly hair and Beatles tattoo on my shoulder. D

I have a quick question. When I was looking at tickets yesterday. I looked at the Front Row Ticket Package just for fun and came up with 2 seats for ONLY $4000. When my wife said "go for it if you want" I was tempted but just couldn't get myself to spend that kind of money. Anyway my question is, as part of the package they offer a pre-show hospitality reception and this gets everyone to thinking maybe they'll meet Paul. Has anyone on this board ever done one on these or know of someone who did and did you or they see Paul? By the way I ended up getting $89 tickets for my wife and I and our 2 daughters and sons in laws. A true family excursion.

VIP packages do not include meeting Paul.

Thank you, that was very helpful and reassuring.

Lyman The pre show hospitality reception, or last year I think it was listed as a buffet or dinner for the first row packages was a separate area where they served drinks and food. No Paul!!!

When I was in Halifax last yr. the VIP seats were so far back from the stage...they were just metal bleechers and I even heard it was a cold place to be up in the night air, I was very warm next to the stage, and when the pyro stuff started..well, it got too warm!! I'm glad I spent most my money on the flights. Now I'm going to Pittsburgh and hope I won't be disappoited w/ my seat.
-
I too hope my seats are okay, they're pretty far to the side. We also went to Halifax lsast year, drove there from here in Western PA, only have to drive 50 miles this time instead of something like 13 hours last year.

My son is the same way! He is 2 and LOVES the Beatles. As soon as we get into the car he says "Listen to the Beatles Mommy!". And he always wants to play Beatles Rock Band with my husband. He holds the mike and sings. Doesn't quite know all the songs yet, but he is getting there. It's so cute and it does make you proud! I would love to be able to take him to this show, but he is just too young. Hopefully this won't be Paul's last tour and in a couple of years I can take him!

That password is only available to the people who work for the founding partners. I know the Tribune Review and Post Gazette are both founding members. So I highly doubt that password is going to be made available to the public.

What section are you in? I'm off to the side too in 113. Isn't it great having Paul come to US this time?! I drove to NYC last year and on previous tours we traveled to Ohio and DC. It's so great knowing he's coming here this time!

The AMEX presale sold out Weds through Ticketmaster. You're probably going to have to wait until 10 am Monday morning when Ticketmaster releases the tickets to the general public. Just go to your local TM outlet Monday morning right at 10, and try for tickets! You won't need any passwords or anything special then.. and maybe (and hopefully) some better seats will be available. Good luck!

Thanks guys. Omg now I have to wait TWO more days till I buy my ticket?????????? GRRRRRRRRR. This weekend is going to be absolute TORTURE

Becky, if Pittsburgh is anything like Nashville- I'd get there REALLY early, I mean 2 hours, have breakfast in your car and be the first person in line. I'd even stop by this weekend to make sure that location will have tickets and maybe choose a location in a less populated part of town.... but make sure they will really be ready to sell tickets at 10! Tickets are selling out in minutes and being 5th in line might not do it. I know they say that online is the best way, and I was lucky enough to get through, but if I hadn't, that is what I would have done in Nashville.. Also, ask for tips from anyone who's had success buying from a ticketmaster outlet. Good luck!!!!!! And for anyone who knows about seating. What is row TT? I've checked the seating charts, even entered it in the virtual link- but can't seem to figure it out. Thanks! Britt

You must be on the floor somewhere, that is probably why it didn't come up on the virtual map.

That would suck if I have to go downtown to buy tickets.. There's one on Euclid Avenue and one in Public Square. But I don't think anyone will be in line to really get tickets to see Paul though in Pitttsburgh. If he were playing here in Cleveland yeah I'd get my butt down there super early but since this is Pittsburgh maybe it's best to buy them online?

It's going to be worse to buy them online for Pittsburgh. How fast the presale tickets went is a prime example of why it would be worse. You have a huge possibility of the ticketmaster server being overloaded, that's when they have you wait in a virtual waiting line for over 10 minutes, even more. I'm predicting tickets to be gone in less then 2 minutes online.
