(Paul's recent CD-signing in London) NO!!!!!!!!!! This outfit looks like a complete after-thought. The shirt and tie appear dingy and wrinkled -- totally clashing with the double-breasted blazer, which needs to go, regardless. Replacing the blazer with the sleeveless outerwear that he wore at the iHeartRadio thing would've saved the outfit.
That chick looks like she doesn't give a flying f*ck what Paul is wearing! (I wouldn't either if I was that close to him!) Really Paul? A lavender jacket with an orange shirt? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/njr/Paul%20McCartney%20and%20The%20Beatles/Paul_circa19692_zps0d842952.jpg Oh who cares? You're so damn cute it doesn't matter!
Never underestimate the power of the psychedelic period on a guy who did acid

that girl with the huge grin on her face in the big pic with double breasted blazered Paul...I forgot about Paul's facebook page, then I finally went there again and that girl was in there saying (writing) "hey that was me!"

Nancy R:
P.S. No one has mentioned this yet, but the kimonos have the NEW album logo all over them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was wondering if that was a gift, or if Paul had it made.

I like this quite a bit but prepare for the ultimate nitpick of the century, I don't really like the watch he has on... Also, I just know someone will put this caption in this photo somewhere... "PS: im not advertising new by any chance"

" You do realise a lot of Gen Y's and Z's are probably asking, "What's a watch?"

I think Ringo64 is only about 13 if I remember correctly! (if I'm mistaking you for someone else, my apologies!)

That would happen to be correct. "WHAT A TWIST!"

So, Ringo, you are only 13?... which would've been about the same age I started to get into The Beatles back in the day... I kinda thought the "64" suffix meant you were born that year or were in the throng at the Southern Cross Hotel in Melbourne that year (with my Mum) when they toured here..... Yep, that is a twist!.... And I'm a Twilight Zone maniac....

Actually I didn't realise that before, ( no idea how I didn't though...)good spotting Toris! the only reason I had the 64 at the end is because back in the day ( of a year or 2 ago, so long I know ) I was a huge gamer and my favourite system would happen to be... The Nintendo 64.I have The Beatles Rock band to thank for that! Its funny to see how all of these things strangely connect... and to add even more coincidence to this, I found out a while back that there was a give my regards to broad street game...on the commodore 64. I should actually start watching the twilight zone, I just haven't had the time since ive been going through this weird sort of nostalgic stage of watching all of the cartoons I used to watch and enjoy. that's why the Avatar post came up.. This Is getting a little off topic so Im going to explain why I don't really like the watch paul is wearing when he arrived at Japan yesterday... I just think having the silver with a black and white sort of outfit just dosnt really suit... if anything I would of preferred a more simple, black watch of some sort. white would look pretty weird for this context, dosnt look like it would suit. then again, its just a watch and I should proably relax

Ringo, you sound like a very articulate and knowledgeable young man. I am presuming so much so, that even coming from South Australia, you barrack for neither Adelaide or Port Adelaide.... but are actually a supporter of The Beatles of the Australian Football League... Collingwood!!!! I will send you a recommendation later on three or four Twilight Zone episodes to watch.... we're going back to 1959-64 for that one... before I was born, I should add!

Just another twist I should add, im a girl I go under the name Ringo since I was the Beatles freak at school who played the drums for a small period of time... if anything, im more of a George now Im not really that into sports, Id prefer to go out and actually play than just sit around and watch them... though if I did have to pick sides, theres only one bird simular to a black bird in the AFL... Cant wait to hear the episodes I should watch! hopefully theres no more twisting for now EDIT: no problem about the mix up, I guess I could come across as a guy since ive always grown up being friends with guys more than girls.

Sorry .... I'm sounding sillier by the day.... Talk about twists... I hear 'Ringo' so I automatically think a guy.... I should have said you sound like a very articulate and knowledgeable young lady!...ok, I'll get those Twilight Zone recommendations to you!... And George is cool..... Cloud 9 is a beauty.

For the record: I don't care too much for gold/silver jewelry either.

SusyLuvsPaul:
In that huge picture of him, he had hurt his upper lip in a motor scooter accident in the North of England. It might have happened while he and Jane Asher were riding around on scooters looking at scenery one weekend. Or maybe he was intoxicated and hit a bump carelessly and flew off the scooter cutting his lip. Poor Paulie Probably some of you have read about that incident.
Susy, it happened on Dec. 26, 1965 (Boxing Day) in Liverpool. He was with his brother, and borrowed a scooter which he promptly crashed resulting in this pic which he insisted his brother take: The scar was visible for many years afterwards. And of course he also broke his left front tooth which we can see 5 months later (!) in the Paperback Writer/Rain videos.
He was with Tara Browne at the time, the Guinness heir who later "blew his mind out in a car", supposedly inspiration for the "A Day in the Life" verse. He is the person who introduced Paul to LSD, and it has been mentioned that they may have indulged in one sort of mind-altering substance or another just before the moped accident...

I was your age when Paul married Linda (Mar. 12, 1969)!

This seriously came up in a discussion in another group on Paul's pink shirts and the era before the early 80s when a pink shirt meant a guy was gay.

Elvis PROUDLY wore pink shirts, even when he was still in high-school.

Elvis could - and did - wear anything and look COOL.... who else could have pulled off those jumpsuits and the full '68 leather pants and jacket?... Legend.
