Someone posted a photo of Bruce in the audience singing along to "Hey Jude."
He had great seats Friday night!
Was he in your section?
We were had aisle seats in 106, closer to the stage in the row, and he was in the middle of 104 so when he got up to leave for the stage we were like 10-15 feet from him? Security was off the charts right there and they wouldn't let anyone walk in front of the section, we knew someone had to be there!
That's cool! Someone I know was in floor seats next to Bruce's section and she could see him and Patti all night. They were singing along to the songs, she said.
We were on the floor right in front of him and Stevie. Bruce and Patti looked like they were having a great time, Stevie looked bored throughout. Strangely he and Bruce were sitting a section apart though both had empty seats around them. Then about 10.30 Bruce and Patti moved over and set next to Stevie. If I knew how to upload pictures on here I could show the evidence!

I was at the second show so no Bruce but that's alright I've seen him several times. Mainly want to say we had another really great show by Paul &the band.. And the people were fantastic too. I met some new people right away, we all had Paul stories to tell, I got to tell my old Beatle chasing stories which always Warms my heart â¤ï¸. I had way more fun at Paul 's concert with his fans then I did on my big deal vacation to Europe this past July. Friendly people make all the difference, those cruise ð??¢ people were too stuck up to be any fun, at least I know not to waste my money on that again. Definitely want to see Paul again next year, hope he's into it too. Coolest part for me was Blue Suade Shoes at sound check and all the way back to Love â¤ï¸ Me Do, the first record we had in 63, it was a 45! It's raining a little now inNYC, I love it, walked all over the place, no problem. It's exciting with the United Nations and all going on, nothing like this ever happens at home. Have great time Brooklyn tonight, don't let the rain â??ï¸ bother you. Wear a hat, it's a tad windy for an umbrella. Cheers ð?»

Bob Gannon:
Very nice pic Bob. Thanks. Suzy if you saw the video you'd realize that it's Stevie Van Zandt.

These past few NY/NJ shows have been nothing but magical. I will be honest here. The first time I saw Paul was at Yankee Stadium in 2011. It was a magical evening. Then, I saw him at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in 2013. It was solid, but not as good as Yankee. I saw him in Albany after that, another very good show, but still doesn't compare to Yankee. Then, last year, I saw him at MetLife. It was honestly too big for him. I felt a huge disconnect and was very underwhelmed by the show. Fast forward to Friday night at MSG. I could feel it from the beginning. Paul was on the ball. The crowd really fed off him. It was a huge event. I kept thinking, "he is on fire!" It was sensational. Of course, Bruce Springsteen, my other favorite, just sealed the deal. But still. Paul was incredible on Friday night. It was the same kind of magic that was in the air at Yankee Stadium six years ago. I hope Paul keeps going for a long time, but I'm also a realist. I'd be more than happy with Friday being my last ride. If Paul wants to do more, I'm willing to do more. But I can see it in him as he drives in slowly, as he plays longer. There's a spirit in him that hasn't been there in a while. He's been really inspired these past few shows. And I'm blessed to have seen one of them. I hope everyone else enjoys them as much as I did. Thank you Paul.

The past couple of shows I've had moments in which I feel like I'm watching a younger version of Paul. Watching him play Yesterday from a profile pov the other night, I felt like I was watching '65 Paul. Last night I had a moment when he was playing acoustic and I felt like I was watching the Tug of War video; during Hey Jude I really felt like I was looking at '89 Paul. Seeing how happy and enthusiastic he looked pulling in on Friday, I was reminded of clips of him traveling around in '64. I feel like he's gaining youthful energy in these shows and it's even making him *look* younger!

There were 9 songs played at MSG that I didn't hear at MetLife. Both shows were on the same tour. Not bad. They felt like completely different shows.

Yeah, but from different songs among the two shows, only 2 out of 8 weren't played during the shows you've seen in 2011, 2013 and 2014... 6 of the different songs were lifted from the 2011 tour, and 3 from both the 2013 and 2014 show, both with overlaps. Even more, the show you've seen in 2011 and 2013 even had the exact same "early set" combination as last week. Of course the shows in itself felt different and were great on the whole and this doesn't take anything away from that, but from the sideline I can't believe how lazy he wants to be with shaking things up. Well, I can believe it, since I gave up final hopes around 2011, haha.
-
First off, I'm all with you on the shaking things up. But there's something that we don't like to admit that plays a factor here... previously, Paul's tours were big deals and isolated events. You've got the 89/90 Tour...'93 tour...Back in the <insert here> tour...US Tour '05...there's big time gaps and big changes from tour to tour in those sets...lots of songs that are exclusive to each tour. However since 2009, he hasn't really stopped. Yes, there's been gaps of a few months...but in the grand scheme of things, 2009 to the present just kind of feels like one gigantic tour. He's almost into that Bob Dylan, Elton John, Beach Boys etc. territory of the "never ending tour" which from a performer viewpoint, probably makes it hard to determine when enough is enough. What I'm getting at is that if we want a BIG change...I mean 50% of the show to flip flop...I think we need a big break, and Paul has not had one since he resumed touring in '09...he's had slightly lighter years like 2012 and 2014...but no real break.
