Paul @ London 100 Club, Friday, 17 Dec, 12.30 pm - ARCHIVE
-
Paul managed to wedge his baby grand onto the stages of Ameoba Music in LA and the ICA in London. Seems to be shoehorn that and Abes drum kit on and the rest can squeeze around in the remaining space..... Martin

I can't believe I have tickets. I couldn't get Liverpool or London. This is great that Paul is performing at a club that is due to close and he's showing his support to keep it open. Sorry to those who weren't luck and congratulations to those who were.

This is my question: The club is very small... so maybe nothing songs on piano?? I hope!So instead of "Hey Jude" "Let it be" etc will be others songs! My dream is to hear "I wanna hold your hand" and "She loves you". Why Paul never sing this stuff??? I mean are 50% with Lennon like "One after 909"
Yes, there's no problem fitting a normal size piano on the stage - the stage isn't as small as you're imagining.

He would just use a smaller keyboard. I personally would rather hear juniors farm than she loves you or I wanna hold your hand not 2 of his greatest songs.
She Loves You and I Wanna Hold Your Hand: not 2 of his greatest songs! You must be under 40!

I have to say i am felling pretty depressed at moment. When he announced Hammersmith i was deviasted as i go on holiday Sat morning, so couldnt go. Then when he announced the 100 club i though that would be my chance to see him as i am still here on Friday. But unfortunately i couldnt get a ticket I am pleased that others could see him but as a massive lifelong fan that has always wanted to see him at Hammersith i am totally depressed about it

The "search for tickets" page is back up on Ticketmaster as it was the "Tickets are not available" page for quite some time. They're clearly trying to fool me into thinking there are still tickets available.
-
Ticketmaster is working now to buy Packed Lunch At the 100 Club. But I can´y buy any ticket. Good luck if you can
-
ticketmaster usually allows you to search for tickets to an event even though it has sold out. seems to be the case here. pretty annoying when you can't tell and it gets hopes up.
-
Hi if anyone is selling a ticket please let me know , I will go to the 100 club in the morning and try my luck too , congrats to all who got a ticket

It's a shame they wasted the first 10 years of their career making all those annoying records

She Loves You was my first single bought by the blessed mother, to whom i may have to kiss on xmas day as she has bought me a ticket for h'smith, but i have never seen him play it or heard about him playing it.

Probably because She Loves You is a mostly shared vocal performance with John. Same goes for I Want To Hold Your Hand.

I would be sort of dissapointed in Paul if he were to play either of them without John's vocals accompanying him...

He did Lennon composition/lead vocal "Please Please Me" live...
-
I'm thinking this setlist is going to be relatively similiar to the Apoolo setlist from Monday, altho, I'm thinking he'll do at least one new early beatles song for these more intimate shows. I don't think we'll get any new wings/solo additions, perhaps I want to come home? Since he's essentially coming home?

But surely he's done both of those in previous concerts? I'm sure I've heard him do I Wanna Hold Your Hand ....

Nope, neither of them...really the only early beatles songs he's played are I Saw Her Standing There Please, Please Me I'll Get You All My Loving Can't Buy Me Love And I Love Her Things We Said Today She's a Woman I'll Follow The Sun Thats 1963-1964 at least...
