...and Till There Was You
I was leaving out covers, but if we're talking all recordings, then yes, till there was you....Long Tall Sally as well.

Probably because She Loves You is a mostly shared vocal performance with John. Same goes for I Want To Hold Your Hand.
I would be sort of dissapointed in Paul if he were to play either of them without John's vocals accompanying him...
I'd be more pleased and surprised rather than disaapointed. It would be very cool, if not actually great in actual terms of overall result. But remember he does sing Something and A Day In The Life/Give Peace a Chance and they are brilliant and very emotional tributes to his departed friends, loved by us all. It does and can work!

He did Lennon composition/lead vocal "Please Please Me" live...
Really? When and where can i find a recording of it???? Does it work on singing it on his own?
-
He did it during his 2005 tour. You can see it on You Tube.

You can also buy the 2006 DVD The Space Within US. It's my fave of all of McCartney's concert DVDs, despite the numerous interview segments.

Cool, thanks. Will check it out soon.

This smallish London club gig must be a labor (labour) of love, he won't make much moolah at this one, will he? Sure would love to see him in his beloved London town. Does London really look, at night while snowing some, as it did in the Bridget Jones movies? Looked like a cozy adorable urban setting, I longed to be there, so much
-
Talking with Brian Ray on facebook he said that the band have rehearsaled "I wanna hold your hand" with Paul a couple years ago.

It's all going on now .. My mind is alive with all the possibilities of what Paul's selections are.. Can hardly wait to hear the details from the most lucky fans.. Saw Paul most recently in Pittsburgh, both shows 18 & 19 August, 2010. Remembering the fun and excitement I had at The Amoeba- going out to LA on a wing and a prayer- and having it work out amazingly better than anything that could have been planned.. The intimate gig, having experienced this plus all the other Arena shows- has a vibe one can't explain - just certainly wonderful, unforgettable..and directly taken in the soul... I have a friend that will be at the Apollo tomorrow.. Betty Lou from Pittsburgh

I saw on another site that he played Matchbox but wasn't sure weer it fitted in to the set. The Band on the Run chorus before the brief Let it Snow was played on piano so maybe he ended 1985 with Band on the Run like the record?

yep that's what he did, it was just the snippet. the rest of the band didnt seem to be expecting it so it kinda fizzled out, but was fun nonetheless. maybe it was matchbox that was played first then. magical mystery tour was definitely second.
