THE NEXT DELUXE/REMASTERED ALBUM FROM PAUL
-
I wouldn't doubt what this website said about them being delayed until November. You may be able to download mp3s but they are probably an older version, not the new remasters. Just my two cents. Why would anybody want to download crappy mp3's anyway? I don't care what some employee of Amazon says, I would wait.

Paul McCartney and Wings "Venus and Mars (Deluxe Book)" Paul McCartney and Wings "Wings at the Speed of Sound (Deluxe Book)" According to Amazon.com, not available till November 07, 2014 - November 11, 2014 That's the email I received from Amazon. Anyone got the same?
-
I got mine through amazon.ca & they have not sent out any emails yet but yes...they all will be delayed.
-
Yep, I got my email too from Amazon (U.S.) about the (2nd) delay.
-
No email but the Amazon UK site still has all the V&M / SOS formats released on 3rd November.
-
November 7 - 11 would indicate shipping dates, right? Not release date?

My email said it will arrive between Nov. 10th and 14th.
-
I have Amazon Prime and my email said delivery on Nov 4, day of release.
-
December 1 to December 19...

I cancelled my amazon.com (U.S.) order and ordered it from Canada--so much cheaper! Only $56.79 (U.S. dollars) Even with the shipping it is still a lot less than U.S. Amazon. (plus my AMEX card does not charge transaction fees anymore for foreign currency exchanges!)
-
I bet the delay is just so they can push yet a other version of New at us. Perhaps it's time to chance the name from New to More of the same
-
Well, apparently it's going to be a "collector's" edition of "NEW" containing three bonus cuts, two of which have never been heard before,,...."Hell To Pay"and Demon's Dance" and the song previously available on the Japanese edition of "NEW"...."Struggle". No thanks, Paul. The version of that album I have with fourteen cuts is quite sufficient. Don't need or want a super slick deluxe edition of anything with fancy books, live cuts of songs on the album we already have, etc, etc Just refurbish all the really old stuff and get your entire catalog updated already. : :

I ordered from amazon.ca right from the start.

Yeah, but he's doing it at a snail's pace.

Looking at the contents of the two Wings Deluxe sets and NEW Collector's Edition, NEW would be my choice. Passing on the Deluxe sets (the single disc remasters will be a must though!)

Supposedly, it's these two this year: Venus and Mars (1975) (Wings) Wings at the Speed of Sound (1976) (Wings) And then these two in 2015: Tug of War (1982) Pipes of Peace (1983) Beyond that is anyone's guess, but I'm guessing the following are out of the running, since Hear Music has already re-released them without bonus material: Off the Ground (1993) Run Devil Run (1999) Driving Rain (2001) Chaos and Creation in the Backyard (2005)
DON'T FORGET THE WINGS' LP, "WILD LIFE" and versions of the single, "LIVE AND LET DIE..."

Personally, I would love it if he moved on to: Wild Life (1971) Red Rose Speedway (1973) and then... London Town (197 Back To The Egg (1979) but I don't think they're too stoked about doing those. The commercial prospects are just not that promising. They would probably have to sell them for $300 apiece to the few fanatics who would buy them to recoup the production costs. Still, I do wish they would at least do them as simple CD-sized gatefold packages, with 2 CDs and a DVD. Which versions of "Live And Let Die" are you talking about?

Apparently, ALL his albums are now available remastered on iTunes! https://itunes.apple.com/artist/paul-mccartney/id12224

Some the remasters are the years they were released. Not the current, assigned year.
