Apparently, ALL his albums are now available remastered on iTunes! https://itunes.apple.com/artist/paul-mccartney/id12224
Some the remasters are the years they were released. Not the current, assigned year.
And not all are actually remastered.

Ah yes, it does say several. Thanks for that!

What the hell are Mull of Kintyre and Girls School doing on Speed of Sound?

Shouldn't those be on London Town??

Yes, they are absolutely out of place on SOS. According to a tracklisting I saw at ebay, they're tacked onto the end of the album. This is just absurd.

. Still, I do wish they would at least do them as simple CD-sized gatefold packages, with 2 CDs and a DVD. Which versions of "Live And Let Die" are you talking about?
Back when Band on the Run was released, Best Buy issues an exclusive that is just as you described

This may be a sign that there isn't going to be remastered London Town within our lifetimes. On the other hand, it might cause me to buy SOS, as I don't currently own a playable copy of any compilation that includes Mull of Kintyre, and that makes me sad.

I think the information on ebay is wrong: nowhere else, not on the official pm-site, nor on Amazon or other resellers are these songs included in the tracklist of SOS...

"Mull Of Kintyre" and "Girls School" are absolutely not on the SOS reissue. In fact, there's a whole thread about the bonus material on that release plus V&M here: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=89449 I always take info on eBay with a grain of salt. Sellers may be too lazy to verify what they're actually selling, or they may just be trying to attract eyeballs with deliberate misinformation. I would take this incident as a red flag on that seller in general.* *Of course, I mean that person, not eBay as a whole. I've bought and sold things on there, and I've had mostly good experiences. Still, it really is the Wild West!

You're right, false alarm, for me anyway. I checked with the seller who, it turns out, is selling Eastern European reissues dressed up to look like the Archive Series. Apologies.

I already have the Speed of Sound archive cd's...Girl's School and Mull of Kintyre are not on it

Hey, everyone, you're gonna love this! http://wogew.blogspot.com/2014/10/wings-best-buy-exclusives.html Many of us have already pre-ordered the deluxe Archive releases of V&M and Speed of Sound, but now Best Buy has jumped in with their own exclusive, when you buy the regular 2-CD versions. A 7" vinyl single with each one, but it's unclear if there's any unreleased music on the B-sides, or anything at all on the B-sides. V&M: Venus And Mars / Rock Show [presumably not split up between sides A and B) Speed of Sound: Let 'Em In [guess somebody's still feeling touchy about "Silly Love Songs"]

I read the cover & it says "collectible 7" single - details inside."

The new version of Rock Show is, IMO, better than the original.
-
I agree, this is the best set of bonus tracks yet since they started

When the 7" was first released in 1975, the B-side of Venus and Mars/Rockshow was Magneto and Titanium Man. This is also the single version that is on Wingspan, cut down from 6:51 to 3:46. Hopefully this Best Buy 7"is the same single.

When the 7" was first released in 1976, the B-side of Let 'Em In was Beware My Love. Hopefully this Best Buy 7"is the same single.

By the way, it does not say these are included or free with your purchase, just that they are "available" only at Best Buy. Guess we need to wait for the details! My local Best Buy has no vinyl at all, so these are probably not going to be at all the stores, my guess is only the bigger ones that carry vinyl will have these.
