Paul McCartney & Taylor Swift sing 'Shake It Off'

Songs that are worse: What Goes On (The Beatles!) Tiptoe Through The Tulips (Tiny Tim) She Bangs (William Hung)
You could add for consideration (lol) "Disco Duck" and "Macarena"
It's hard to beat this one:

Yeah I went overboard in the dissing Swift department ops: "Shake it Off" is catchy, I guess, and lively, don't like certain parts of it at all.
-
I've only heard the entire song once, and that was through that viral YouTube video where the cop lip-syncs it in his cop car while driving around town. Pretty hilarious. The song is fine, doesn't provoke a negative reaction with me. To me, she seems pretty protective of her image. I wouldn't totally rule out her becoming a sex kitten, but I don't see that as inevitable at all.

Don't Worry, Be Happy.

So far I have only been able to find 15-second videos of the songs played on. Has anyone seen longer versions?

I'm just being silly, but I really, really, really, really, really, REALLY hate the song "Shake It Off." It is the worst song I've ever heard. It makes me yearn for the substance of Scotty McCreey's odious "I Love You This Big"... or Enrique Iglesias' embarrassing "Freak" ... or Florida Georgia Line's moronic, bro-country turd "Sun Daze." That's how much I hate that song.
I didn't like it either, until I heard this great cover:
-
Nancy R:
She Bangs (William Hung)
Maybe it's just me, but those words don't look right together.

Was originally a Ricky Martin song that William Hung sang for his American Idol audition.

Note to self: Do not have any daughters in the foreseeable future.
LOL Audi, maybe if you think of all the constant awful things that Taylor must have flung her way... this song is probably the comeback to it all!? The video makes that really obvious
especially the very end... it's funny... -
Only you could convince me to watch a Taylor Swift video.

Grrrrrrrrrrr....
Better not watch the Blank Space video then... you won't like it....just a friendly warning

Having young daughters subjects us to the most heinous music. I have suffered through the Jonas Brothers phase, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato. I was ready to disown my 15 year old for even mentioning One Direction in the same sentence as The Beatles. But I got revenge by referring to Paul McCartney as my Bae. I happen to like TaylorSwift I never even thought of comparing "Shake It Off" to "Happy" I just remember Mariah Carey's song "Shake it Off" and Taylor's video has a couple of similarities.

"Having young daughters subjects us to the most heinous music" I have two daughters now in their early-mid 20's and they always loved 60's music and Broadway show tunes, guess I was lucky - lol.

Yankeefan, yes you are lucky... my girls are 11, 13, and 15. Now I know I drove my parents crazy with my Michael Jackson and Menudo obsession when I was their age. But c'mon I cannot understand this whole One Direction craze. When they were younger, I was tortured by listening to Radio Disney. I was surprised when we were watching the Grammys and my 13 year old said she already knew about Paul McCartney.

My girls grew up during the "boy" bands and loved N-SYNC for example. That being said, they have always loved 60's rock. Maybe because my wife and I played it often and it is really good - lol.
