http://wideeyecinema.com/?p=105 Take your time to watch this, it's a documentary about the use of a weed killer called Round-Up, forbidden here in Sweden, but not in many other countries, this is for real a bad thing! Though it's not allowed here Therese's stepfather has this and he almost killed his lawn when getting rid of the weed, it is VERY effective!!
It was almost impossible to get something to grow at the spot for a very long time!

Wow, went to see FOOTLOOSE this Saturday, and it was magic, had seats on the 4th row, and the performers were totally amazing, great singers and dancers, and also pretty good actors for being a musical. Here is a medley with the cast on a Swedish TV-show, though it was in Swedish in the musical, it ended with a medley with the best songs in English.
I saw Mama Mia a few years back and now I know why they do it in your language
otherwise you only hear the music and not the story that they wanna tell you
even with Mama Mia they did an english medley at the end and you where aloud to sing and dance
Yeah, I saw that too a couple of years ago, this musical was much better in my opinion! Not the story perhaps, those are always excuses for having a show full of music and dancing!

I suspect what we're seeing here, folks, is a "failure to communicate"
.......interesting language issue here, cuz I know exactly what Tina meant (as do most Americans) but it doesn't sound like you do!
I'm glad someone knows what I'm talkin' about, cuz it sure isn't me!!
Well, as I said "most Americans" would get the meaning, but apparently you aren't one of them, which is especially strange since you're the one who said it.
On the other hand, I'm still trying to figure out how Bjorn got that sofa so easily, when I had to raise ALL KINDS of Southern hell to get mine!
:
I kinda got the meaning, but it sounds real fun to me, and I see the sofa debate went on page up page down, best topic for a while!!
My new Tetris is very comfortable, allowing two sleepy heads on each side, it's very spacey, and so I have had very nice naps after work on it! And have a very hard time getting up from it and going to bed in the evenings! I know, life is tough, but for some it is worse!

I haven't seen Mamma Mia (yet
, wanna see the musical in London and definitely going to the cinema this summer
) I have seen Footloose though, a couple of years ago it was a graduation project of a musical education here and I loved it! Next year there's going to be a "real, proper" version coming and I just heard the leading role is going to be played by one of the boys who played it in the version I saw!
I think that's so funny
Also the movie is pretty funny, a young Kevin Bacon and Sarah Jessica Parker in the leading roles

I already saw it years ago
Svenny is there no place you can buy beer in the evening and weekends
: here we can buy in the supermarket and snackcorners
only beer and wine
the hard-liquor only in special shops and only when you 18
That is correct. There is no place where we can buy beer/wine after 8 pm on the weekdays and after 6 on Saturday (apart from restaurants, pubs etc). You have to be 18 to buy beer/wine and 20 to buy liquor. I know the reason for it, they want to reduce the alcohol consumption. But I still think it should be ok to buy wine in a grocery store. Beer is ok but not wine. It makes no sense at all.
Once you are 21 in Oregon you can buy beer/wine anytime you find a store open (I think...maybe a 2am cut off but I'm not sure), hardliquor is sold only in state run liquor stores and they have shorter hours of business. Svenn do they still sell alcohol by the drink in pubs and restaurants after 8pm?
Yeah, I bet Oregon is DAplace to be, just check this out!
http://citrussoldier.com/comic-30.html You remember about our State owned Liquor/wine/strong beer stores, I am not complaining about it, we can get almost the best variety of wines there is, and if I want it I can go and buy every day except on Sundays, so no problem at all. In the regular food stores you can get 3,5% beer...
In food stores here we can buy 4,75% beer... like the one you got... Maybe you noticed you got drunk sooner than usual?

What was the meaning anyway? Something about a long sofa... a loveseat... or whatever.
Nice sofa! I also got a new one not long ago. I love it! Pic coming later!

Of course we all know that the sum of all vices is constant!! But somehow Norwegians must have a higher sum!

wow here in california we can buy beer wine and hard liquor in grocery stores, have to be 21 and can buy it at all hours and all days except between 2am and 6 am.... so you have to stock up at 0200 so that it can last until 0600 funny story, while in illinois last week and on my way to Judy and Dianes (queenbee and maccasgirl on SF) i stopped at a liquor store and when i walked in the offered me a glass of wine, now granted it was a very small glass about 30 ml but hey they offered a drink, to a driver at that...... when i said i wanted shiraz they happened to have some of it opened and ready to try........ knew right away i wasnt in california anymore angela- i will be seeing you an a little over a week, am looking so forward to this trip... the weather seems to be cooperating, seems like short sleeve shirts are going to be packed, should i be bringing my rain coat???? or just a light jacket????
-
Hi and bye...I'm back and had the most amazing time, but I need to go to work in a bit

HMMM...Central Floriada is pretty easy with the selling of alcohol.... We can buy beer and wine 24/7 here and the grocery stores like Publix even sell hard liquer "mixed" drinks....they sell bottles of margaritas, mudslides, yadda yadda yadda....drinks I've never even heard of...
I think thats how they get away with selling hard liquer in supermarkets...mis it with yummy sweet tasting stuff and call it a Pina Colada....
SOOOOO....if ya LIKE to drink Florida is a good spot!!
And probably why there are so many DUI arrests!!
