Tattoo signatures - yay or nay?

Getting back on topic...three years ago today the "tattoo phase" of Pauls' concerts began in Nova Scotia.

The '09 Halifax show is my favorite of all the live versions of "Helter Skelter" that i've heard. Paul looked and sounded great that night. And, yes, it began the tradition of once-in-a-lifetime autograph-tatoos for the world's luckiest fans.

At the risk of offending some members of the board, I have to ask this question. I want to know what you all think. First of all let me say to everyone who has had Paul sign their arm/back wherever, that I am thrilled you got to meet him etc. But it seems more and more frequent. What started out as an original idea is becoming more and more widespread. Do you think it is appropriate he does this during concerts? Is it right that some people who also have signs "sign my ___" are left disappointed? I will wait until a few people respond before I give my opinion...I really hope I am not offending anybody
I met a young lady once who had a rose on her upper left chest. Now; as she has aged the rose has become a hanging basket.

I knew a young lady who had a unicorn on her left breast. She pointed out his nose has grown longer over the years.

That would also go for a pinocchio tat!

Bump for Erik to read.

You beat me to it, Oobu. This thread has Erik's name written all over it.

Instead of signing arms he could sing an extra song
