Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours

I'd be shocked if the announcement is Monday. Easter Monday not gonna happen, I'd say Tuesday-Wednesday for an announcement.
What is Monday? Is this the 25 days of Easter or something? Easter is one day, the day he supposedly rose. Friday is good Friday. Monday, I'm pretty sure, is just Monday. I think it's a perfect day to announce the tour. No?
Easter Monday is public holiday in some countries including the UK.

Oh. Not in the U.S. and that's where the tour is.

Paul needs to announce new dates SOON!! People here are finding really ridiculous things to argue about! Let's have a fight about what HOUR Paul will announce the dates!!
-
Really hoping he announces a few US shows tomorrow. I really want to figure out how many NYC shows there will be (I'm hearing one from some folks and two from others) and then get my ticket for Fenway taken care of.

It's sad isn't it?! We all just want the same thing!

My bet is 6 AM EST

The problem is that I don't think they are going to announce the entire list of dates, but just the ones that are happening in May/June. And probably one or two at a time, with a presale 24 hours later. This has been the pattern lately and I wish they would break it, since it is obvious that the whole schedule is set already. So I would love for my hunch to be wrong and that we get the full list of shows!

He'll probably announce New York, since that is on the first US leg

I think it's beyond speculation. If tickets are going on sale within the same week as the announcement, it HAS to happen Monday or Tuesday...Wednesday at the VERY latest. And yes, I think it is guarenteed that we will only have the May/June shows announced. I'm assuming they are one of two legs. Of course, that's only 5 shows approx. speaking/guessing, and we already know the first city is getting two shows. My guess would be, NYC. and who gives a rat's ass about the rolling stones? :
Hey WixRocks!, do you think the second leg could be around October? That's when I'll be in the States...have you heard any rumors? Thanks, man!

Macca US tourdates will be announced no later than Tues.

Do you have a source? All of them?

Contractually due to Bonaroo he can not release US tour dates until a set time has lapsed; usually it is 30 days when a festival tix go on sale
Then why does Tom Petty have his dates already announced with the Bonnaroo date in there? (http://www.tompetty.com/tour) Same goes for Mumford and Sons. (http://www.mumfordandsons.com/live/ Same goes for Mumford and Sons. (http://www.mumfordandsons.com/live/))

I've been reading pages and pages of rumours and seen "Austin" once or twice. Do you think it's possible Paul playing there? I might travel to see him there.

Austin is a big possibility. The tour is set to go places he's never been before and to my knowledge, he hasn't performed in Austin. The possibilites I see are that he goes to the Frank Erwin Center (college arena), Zilker Park (large open outdoor field), or even the ACL Festival (in Zilker Park in October.) I could see him performing a show in Zilker Park in a similar setup to Atlanta and Halifax 2009. The Stones did a show like this in 2006 there. If so, I would guess September because it would be too hot for May-August and the ACL fest books the park for nearly all of October. That's just my two cents.

As I once stated here, I am not a big Eric Clapton fan. Just not for me. But I respect that thousands enjoy his music and his concerts. I saw him once. That was enough for me! I have seen the Stones three times, and if they play New Mexico (they won't) I would go.
I just saw Eric Clapton (great floor seats in the 2nd section back) on Mar. 27th and once was enough for me too. (practically zero interaction with the audience) Also saw the Stones once in the mid-'90's and that was enough too. I want to see Paul so bad!!
Nancy! come to Europe!
Can't possibly get the time off work, plus my dad broke his hip, had surgery, and is in rehab in Ohio, so a lot on my plate now.
ahhhhh sorry bout your dad also speedy recovery! xx
Thanks, but he took a turn for the worse today & was readmitted to the hospital with pneumonia and congestive heart failure.

Oh Nancy, that's horrible! I'm so sorry to hear that--you'll be in my thoughts.
