Thanks for the answers about Indy. I have a disabled friend who wants to go and I would come into town for it, but I wanted to start researching the disabled ticketing and accommodations at possible venues. FYI, Memphis has been talked about for two years on and off, so perhaps it is really happening this time, though the past talk has been for an arena show. And rumored date for this?

ah see I got no options this year so he needs to come to me again and sit right in my lap !

Well I still have no confirmed "options"...well, Boston is an option...but I'm TRYING to wait with hopes that today or tomorrow will see the announcement of something closer so that I don't overreact and spend money on an "extra show". COME ON PAUL. :
-
So - is it logical to assume that if Memphis is being announced on Monday, that we can expect the others on Monday too?

A closer option will happen for us... Just wait for the announcement! Hoping it's sooner rather than later for the peace of mind!
-
Well if May 18 is the first show, the longest we'll have to wait for that announcement is about 46 days.

If Paul were to play Indianapolis, what is the likely venue. Could the locals weigh in?
It's a tough one. There is the arena, Conseco Fieldhouse (or...Bankers Life Fieldhouse now). I saw Paul there in 2002. But....I just don't see Paul playing an arena in the summer. The next option is Lucas Oil Stadium. It's pretty new and HUGE. It's where the Colts play. We did some research and turns out the only concert there has been Kenny Chesney. I'm sure Paul could play there - but seriously..it's really, really, really big. Besides that there is an ampitheatre north of Indy called Klipsch Music Center. But, it's pretty small and has the pavillion/lawn set up. I really don't see Paul playing there.
there is a reason also why so few concerts ( I think they have had more than one) because of the accoustics. That concert made the news concerning all the trouble they had and people were very upset. I would like to see him play Klipsch if he is willing to play for only 24 thousand. but I doubt it also.

24,000 is not a small crowd. I think McCartney played to a crowd that big in Salt Lake City a couple of years ago.

love this venue would like to see it happen but I don't think so. Nice also since it is only 45 miles from my house. I have a lot of good memories there.

(according to Facebook) "Fletcher Terry Paul McCartney is playing a gig here in Memphis. Announcement of the show next Monday on KQK 94.1"

I'm also skeptical because that venue is in Noblesville, not Indianapolis. Has Paul ever played a suburb and billed the show as in the city before?
-
Paul played FedEx Field back in 2009 - it's the home of the Washington Redskins, but the stadium is in Landover, MD. I don't know for sure if the concert was billed as a DC or Maryland stop, though.

I'm not positive, but I think Phoenix 2010 was outside the cit of Phoenix, AZ.

Yep. That's where Paul played in 1993, the last time in Memphis. http://www.epinions.com/musc-review-142B-31D42DD5-3A58B9B4-prod2?sb=1
The 20th anniversary of my first Paul concert.

Artists do it all the time. I wouldn't be surprise if Paul does an arena in Indianapolis because he's doing one in Memphis apparently. I guess he can play any venue in Indi, which makes sense.
