Someone should take a sign to his next show. Get to work on that new album...please!

Yeah, Paul has proven to the world he can keep doing this UP AND COMING/ON THE RUN/OUT THERE tour ad nauseum and indefinitely. I hope after Japan he takes a break, releases a new CD and does a tour designed around the new CD.

Australia has had a lot of big names over there in the last couple of years or so at this point id be surprised if Paul didn't go there soon. As for the CD i never really saw it coming out this year what with the rockshow/WOA releases/reissues early next year would be my best guess,no point flooding the market is there?
I don't think the market was "flooded" by WOA, it is a reissue, not a new release. And I don't think there was much in the way of advertising. And I don't even know that OUT THERE was ever officially announced as a tour to promote the reissue of WOA. It's kind of confusing. But I guess IF there is to be a new CD and a tour to go with it, this one will have to play out. Though after doing so many shows on THIS tour, will it make any sense to mount a major tour so soon? I predict the new CD will not have a major tour to accompany it. He is actually flooding the market with concerts, not CDs.
Doesnt matter if its a reissue or not it still would be 2 albums within literally weeks of each other (if September say) and given the very soft sales nowadays of all recordings i doubt the bean counters arent taking this into account and will be looking to advise Paul as to the best time to release it,i hope the sooner the better btw. And i agree with you about the tour and CD minor changes nothing more i suspect swapping a new song or two out and a couple of new tracks to replace them as we've seen Paul can adapt tours to suit his needs when the machine lurches into action in due course,it does make you wonder if the tour name will change too or keep it the same?

I dunno. I could have swore he was going to release a new CD called OUT THERE and name the tour after the CD. But I was wrong, obviously. If he just adds some songs, I suppose that would work. That's what he did in 1975-76 when he released WINGS AT THE SPEED OF SOUND in the middle of that Wings world tour.

Id assume that an aussie tour will be announced soon to go with these Japanese dates and good on them, pretty much rules out a euro/UK tour though surely? Oh well not to worry at least peeps who've not seen him in a while will get their chance.
No. No tour in Australia.
I definitely wouldn't lose hope of Paul touring Australia just yet. I have a feeling we'll see him tour there in early 2014. He really does seem to be making an effort to go to places he hasn't been to in years (e.g Austria, Japan) this time, so in my opinion, I think this makes Australia a highly likely place for him to tour.
You really think he's gonna get on a jet, haul all his concert stuff and staff all that distance just for Australia? Good luck with that. Why on Earth would he bother if he couldn't tie it in with Japan as well?

I know what you're saying, that's a fair point I really have my fingers crossed for you guys though, you never know, he still might announce Australian dates in December.

In fairness it would make sense for Paul, while he's in the (big) neck of the woods to tack on a few dates in other countries but when have Pauls recent tours ever made sense as he seems to zig zag all over the place seemingly on a whim. But i guess we'll see soon enough.

And a rest home through January if he kept up that pace

US again!?
-
Well, it would make sense to tour the US again if he's promoting the new album. Still, I find it hard to believe that he would tour four continents in three months. That's a crazy busy schedule compared to how he normally tours. Would his voice hold up? What about Beatrice?

That's what I thought back in May, but alas...
