Congratulations to Spain!!! I miss being able to follow sports the way I used to!

Congrats to Spain and to my favorite Spaniard who is peeing his pants right now, Cristian24. DRINKS ON ME!!

Congratulations to Spain. They deserve it and our team never found a way to stop them. I just hope Spain plays a better tournament in 2012 than Greece did this year.

hmmm... well... :
And they did it without Raúl.
-
yeah, imagine what they could have done if they had Raúl.... (great pics ) A Spaniard in the Celebration of the Championship Guess what I did, playing against in Germany in FIFA08 with the two XI that were going to play. Hitzspelger and Frings are good ball stealers and Spain use to play not doing crossings but in the middle, so the only plan left are "long balls to Torres" knowing he's faster that Metzelder and Mertesacker, and hope to score one. Done. Germany started the match running like lions... but that couldn't last much... Casillas only has done one save today, though there was a moment when Spanish defense in the right was weak, with Silva and Cesc not knowing how to defend Lahm and Podolski. I'm very tired... The match has exhausted me and then the celebration in the bar and in the streets. I've never sung in my life the Spanish anthem but for 10 seconds I did the famous Raul (now Sergio Ramos) pose looking and the sky singing the music... (Enrique Iglesias was fortunately a playback). And nothing more to say, congratulations to the team too... 3 goals received in all the championship, all of them in the group phase. And 12 goals scored. I passed around the Canaletas fountain in Las Ramblas yesterday, center of celebrations in Barcelona, but this time I didn't celebrate the title before happening (like I did with the 2 last Real Madrid leagues)... I didn't see it so clear with Germany... they're very good in they're style. Well, football is an excuse to be happy, you know. This time many people should be happy cause of the tournament we have seen. (Except for the referees, of course!, so this is the best referee in Europe... well... if Enrique Iglesias is the best singer... it can be true :wink last thing... the TV camera can't enter the dressing room of the players, no problem the Spanish players have went out the dressing room almost naked with champagne, the cup and dancing and jumping all around the people there, like the TV journalists... fun and disorder, very Spanish.
This is some low quality video about this posted now, you can see Casillas and Puyol with champagne in pants, etc etc etc -
My head aches... too many noise... anyway... FINAL STANDINGS OF THE MACCA BOARD FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE 3rd place "La Furia Catalunya" of unclesox 266 points (47660th out of more than 380,000 teams worldwide) 2nd place "Dan's Dynamos" of daniel 276 points (wherever he is... 28646th worldwide) 1st place "Oliver Sanz's Team" (me...) with 290 points (12948th place worldwide) and now my price... and that is all... I hope we are more people the next time we do this... I've found it funny... PS if my injury in my right foot big toe in that ball's shooting machine, thinking of how Spain should shoot from distance to Buffon has had some positive effect in this peculiar universe, I'm happy with it. And I would do it again.

A la mierda el gafe de los cuartos, de las camisetas amarillas, y de jugar sin Raul And the best thing is, in The World Cup we'll go with no pressure after having won this one, so we will play even better! Vamos la Roja!!!

Congrats. Now you need to join Daniel and I and play when the Champions League begins. It's played on the same UEFA website. You'll be able to select Raúl then. And you can really test what you're made of by playing the UEFA Cup version. Tougher game because the teams and players are not as well known as those in the Champions League, although AC Milan will be playing in it this time.

Otra vez: ¡Congratulaciones España! So the 44-year-voodoo against Spain winning any tournaments has finally been overcome! Just bad luck for me that it had to be against Germany... Spain deserved to win, though. They were clearly the best team in the tournament, and they were definitely the better team in yesterday's game! I don't know what was the matter with the Germans again. They did have some good scenes all right, but sometimes I again had the impression they hardly knew what they were doing! Anyway, Spain is a worthy champion, and then so be it! At least Germany was third in 2006 and second now... so maybe in 2010...

well, I kind of know the most famous players and teams, but not the ones of not so important leagues... the Champions it's enough for me. BTW, Spain has played without Raul, and without Bojan, Jesus Navas and others than, by different, not football reasons, have not being in the team. I guess the Champions League game begin after the previous round... I mean when those group starts.... Well I would choose Raul as not long as he plays near the area this year.

I really doubt that Bojan and Navas would have been more than Cazorla-like (subs for the 60ish minute) in this Eurocup. And I doubt that Raul could have done better than Torres (let alone Villa.) I think we brought the best team possible to this tournament. Well, maybe Diego Lopez should have been there before Palop, he's done so much better this season. And props to Marchena. I thought he was going to be our weak link and he has done so well. Marcos Senna wa the best player in the tournament, without a doubt. What a player.
-
Bojan would have been substitute (or starting player!) of Villa and Torres, and Jesus Navas kind of like Cazorla... well... everyone has done it well, they have played as a team, it's hard to find a good or bad player over the rest then. That's how it's mean to be.

Although I'm a Bojan fan, he only startet 19 games with Barcelona this season. He wouldn't start with Spain, ahead of the second best scorer in the English League, the first scorer of the Spanish League, and and the forth best scorer in the Spanish Liga and champions of the Copa del Rey. I know Bojan has scored 10 goals this season, but it's just not enough yet for the national team. There are four forwards who have scored double the goals he has.
