I am not sure about that BarbB. I usually park at Dixie's Tavern which is right across the street. The rows are lettered from the front to the back A-Z, then go to the AA...I also asked several people about the chairs on the floor, and every person I asked gave me a different answer. Some of them said that they were numbered from left to right, another right to left, starting with #1 each way. Sorry I could not get a straight answer. I tried! In the stands the seats are numbered from right to left. We sat in sec. 117 and had a great view. My phone does not take very good pics, so this was the best I could do. http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c138/alleybeatle/TimeWarnerArena.jpg It is definitely a small arena, and I think everyone is going to have a great view!!!
I have seen a few seating charts for the arena that show the #1 seat being to the right, if you are looking at the stage. This seems to generally be the way the floor seating is done, for most arenas. Do you have any idea how many seats across each of the floor sections are?

Ugh I really wanted floor seats, but I'll take the 1st row in sec 116!!!! Floor seats are funny, nobody sits during the whole concert!! I know I stand most of the time!!! It kills me the ppl who are like "omg, why are they standing & making noise?" UH IT'S A ROCK CONCERT!!!

It's the complete opposite with me. Every Paul show I've been to on the floor people are sitting and looking at you like you're stupid.

This thread needs to be more active!! )

It DOES need to be more active as this is a boring Sunday night, too hot to go outside. Here's hoping Venus and Mars/Rock Show remains the opening number.

this thread does need a bit of a 'pick me up'! after attending 12 hours of child birth classes this weekend with my wife, i am ready for some excitement of a different kind! Our son Lennon is due on July 12th . The final stretch seems like an eternity. Seeing Paul in Charlotte on the 28th is the icing on the cake that is my summer - i've dreamed of seeing McCartney open a show with Venus & Mars / Rock Show since I was nine years old and my parents saw Wings in Philly ( '76). They returned home after those two shows with cool souveniers for my sister and i, bootleg tapes, and stories of these legendary shows that still give me goosebumps when i think about them. Needless to say, July 2010 is going to be one fantastic month in my life...

Standard practice from the big US promoters (Live Nation, AIG), artists, and Ticketmaster is to do late breaking ticket drops. For people who check Ticketmaster at the right time, better seats than what are showing up now will be made available. This could be any time between now and the show but more likely the closer we get, including the week before, day before, and/or around noon the day of. Those great seats can be comprised of ticket holds by the promoter (it's sickening, but they will push the "not great" seats in section 116 to try to get rid of them, because they know the better seats will be easier to get rid of later; they know that many people will say "Well, gee, I'd rather be up close, but looks like section 116 is the only thing that's available, so, since I want to see Paul, I'll take those seats"), production seats (seats that may have been held for Paul, his band, the crew, etc to use as they wish - usually these get released the day of the show), and/or VIP packages that don't sell at the higher prices.

Thanks for the info! I will definitely see what's available the day of the show.

This is so true! I scored front row seats for another artist last year about 6 days before the show. I thought I did well but a few other people scored even better ones (closer to center) just a day before so you never know

I was busy all weekend and for some reason thought the tickets were going on sale today...[bangs head against desk] All the cheap seats are sold out. Other sites are selling them but they jacked up the prices...I'm hoping those tickets will be available for awhile so I can save up some money. If all else fails, at least I still have Nashville!

Did this concert sell out yet?
