I scored a 4th row today. Man, wish I had stumbled across that front row ticket. I've seen him 2nd row and 8th before so I know 4th will be plenty fine by me.
-
Has he been doing "Maybe Im Amazed" on this tour? I REALLY wanna hear that!
-
Afraid that one is not part of this tour, he last did it in 2005.

Yesss!!! My brother's blood work came back and it's good!!! Heart is good, levels of kidney, liver everything good, platelets a little low (from being sick obviously) but fine. Dr said we can go on trip (we'll be back thurs!) My brother did live in NC for 2 years so he had a Dr down there and told this to his current Dr. So current Dr said any dizziness, shortness of breath or anything unusual, get to your other Dr ASAP!! He hasn't had any of that. A couple of people at his job were sick, this must have been a nasty virus!! His cadiologist scared the crap out of me and my mom, but better safe than sorry!! He actually is running a couple of more tests (like for bacterial infection) but those results won't be in until thurs and we'll be back thurs am!!! Thanks for the well wishes and good vibes, yay we are seeing Paul tomorrow!!! Sorry if I killed the excitement in this thread, I'll put it back!!!! Oh and everybody don't forget to DVR Paul's White House performance on PBS!!!
-
Great news for all!!!! Congrats, safe travels.

No, just kept hitting TicketMaster daily as I knew the first few rows that didn't sell for the high priced 'package' prices would get released for the $250 price to get rid of them.

I called TWC Arena to ask them if they had an official showtime, yet (since all info still says "Doors 6:00 PM; showtime TBD"). The person I spoke to said "There's no official showtime. We're being told doors open at 6:00 and the show will start when the majority of people are in their seats. That is expected to be 'around' 7:30". I don't really like not knowing an official start time. I'm OK with them saying "7:30" and then the band being late (in fact, most large shows these days start exactly on time unlike the old days when bands came on when they were ready - I sort of miss that). I'm not OK with planning my evening with an assumption that they'll hit the stage at 7:30, only to find out they decided to come out at 6:30. I don't really want to be in my seat at 6:00, either. This is too vague.

Agree totally, this is total BS !!! Maybe the Nashville people can give us a hint.

Another thing. The "majority" of people will be mulling around the arena(concession stand/bathroom) especially if there is no "official" starting time. How are people going to know when to take their seats?

Someone sitting up front please, please make a sign with Ram On written on it. See the Nashville thread--he seems to respond to sign requests for this song.

Speaking w/reference to the KC show here . . .doors opened at 6:00ish . . .long lines to get thru metal detectors (to avoid that you might seek entrances that are not the main ones . . .that's what we did and it went much faster). Stood in the merch line for a while to get something . . .was in my seat about 7 . . . I think the show started at 8:15-8:20 and ran until 11 or a bit after. Paul was there in plenty of time becuz I saw him drive in . . .I don't think there's any reason to worry that the show will start before 7:30 or whatever's printed on your ticket . . .just FYI . . .

That's the problem. What's printed on the ticket is "6:00 PM Doors". Unlike any show I've ever seen (probably 300 or so?), there is no show time on the ticket. I agree, probably won't start before 7:30, but hate to gamble and miss what will probably be my only ever chance to see Paul.

Wow that is bizarre. The KC tickets had 7:30 printed on them. I would think showtime would still be 7:30 or 8 . . .can't imagine a huge show like a Paul gig would start before 7:30 . . .I guess go early and be in your seat early . . .you won't miss it . . .have a blast . . .you're gonna love it

There is a 30 minute film/music mix before he takes the stage so once you hear that start, you'll know you'll have 30 minutes to get in place. I plan on calling out for "Ram On" but he should perform it. He's done it at every show since England I believe.

Not Kansas City . . .maybe in soundcheck but not as a part of the show

The show will NEVER start at 6:30. I wouldn't worry about that.

Ah, well that sucks. Better get busy on a sign.
