That's more like it...the beatles examiner is...interesting. Helpful at times, but he seems to just take a lot of what we say on here, tag "rumour" or "un-official" to it...and call it his own. :
I don't spend as much time here as you seem to think. I also take offense at the suggestion that I get my news from here. Believe me, this is not one of my major sources of news.

I know the Examiner - Examiner does NOT report just any old thing - the reporting is thorough. Information is verified whenever possible and there is a wide range of sources. Credit is given for suppliers of news and photographs. (Unlike a certain well-known "Macca" site that prints anything that comes along and states much information as fact without regard to whether it's true and without regard to copyrights.) IMO the Beatles Examiner, Paul McCartney Examiner pages are extremely accurate. Anything that can't be verified is reported as unverified and/or rumor.

One thing that bothered me about the Beatles Examiner story was that it reported that some tickets were $3 and $4 but didn't offer any context for that. First, the number of tickets at that price was TINY -- and the seats were horrible, obscured views. Also, such cheap last minute seats aren't unique to Paul. Context would have mentioned: (1) that those cheap seats were largely blocked views or nosebleed seats, and (2) that that happens the day of every concert. Friends of mine once bought same-day tickets to see Springsteen for $1. Another got tickets for U2 for $2 or $3 (can't recall which). So don't just report something like that without offering context. Otherwise I find his stuff to be fair and straightforward.

Yeah, I didn't take a look into that further, but, as I wrote, I saw that listed that cheap on resale sites. Honestly, I hadn't noticed tickets for McCartney shows that cheap before. Although more info would have been nice, the fact they were cheap (against the high price of the show) was the most important thing, IMO. It would have been a huge story had high priced seats gone for that little, but generally when this happens, they're the lousy seats that get dropped in price.

I need a nap after those two shows. Such a soul cleansing couple of nights! When I said I liked the changes to the setlist after the first show, I meant changes from previous tours. There were the two song changes as noted above from Tulsa 1 and Tulsa 2. Loved seeing Lovely Rita, Mr. Kite, All Together Now and Hi Hi Hi.

I went to the first night show and it was GREAT and AMAZING all rolled into one! Long and stormy drive back to Kansas City yesterday but it was well worth it! This was just a great great great show! Many songs sounded better than I've heard before and the light shows/lasers were amazing this time around! I loved how the stage was a big screen also and also the riser that he went up on had screens on it as well! My girlfriends (Alex) first Macca show and she is a huge fan now! My only complaint were some drunks behind us yelling and screaming nonsense during all the acoustic songs and we actually asked if we could move and the ushers at BOK actually helped us out which was amazing! It was great seeing Alex (my gf) smile and face light up when she first saw Paul come out. She is a huge Jimi fan and to see her jump up when Paul breaks into Foxy Lady was priceless! Nineteen Hundred and Eight-Five she freaked out and asked if it was a cover because she didn't recognize it and she said that was her new favorite song! She was a bit of a Beatles/Paul fan but gets tired of me and my excitement over it all but now she is totally sold! Tulsa looked like a nice place but we didn't get a chance to explore really due to the weather and having to get back to town. All in all it was a great show and given the chance I will see Paul again in concert! It's amazing how he keeps getting better every time I see him! I hope everyone that went got home safely and had an amazing time!

Great shots!! I just might have to see how that looks as a background! Thanks for the pics!

Hope everyone in Oklahoma is safe and everyone who traveled there made it home safe. Seems to be a bad line of storms from OK City to here in St. Louis. We just came out of a tornado warning, but it seems okay now. Hearing reports of possible tornadoes and lots of damage. Looks like we will be rocking and rolling (not in a good way) all night!

Looks like more tornadoes hit the Oklahoma City area again tonight. Prayers to all of the people there.

Huge storm just sat on OKC along the I-40 corridor. Multiple tornadoes and lots of flash flooding. There are over 60,000 people without power.

I was happy to find it. Didn't get a chance to look at my pics until I got back to Chicago. Pulled out a great one with Paul looking my way. Happy you like it. I have more to come.

Great pics, Lonely Road! I trust your birthday was wonderful. I was worried about my house in Oklahoma City last night, but the tornado jumped up and veered south. No electricity last night or this morning, hope it is on when I get home from work. Still buzzing from those two amazing shows!
