Any predictions on the 2012 setlist for this little 5 concert tour in November? I saw him in Detroit and Cincinatti last year and if his setlist is any thing like those shows, I'll be as happy as a kid on Christmas. It was a great mix of well known hits from the Beatles, Wings, and solo.
Hello! Many members will tell you Paul plays almost the same setlist every time, except a few differences. It is more or less the same hits every time and very Beatles heavy, only scratching the surface of the greatness of some Wings gems and a miniscule amount of much-wanted solo songs. A lot of us find this to be quite stale. We just hope and pray for at least a few fresh appearances. Earlier this year the appearance of Hope of Deliverance astounded all of us! So, it's nice when Paul does the very rare thing of surprising us with unexpected songs like that. But anyway, either way, you'll still have a great time! Though I'm against the staleness of Paul's setlists, I'd still absolutely love to go to his shows. I need my Macca fix soon! I wish there'd be some UK homecoming Christmas gigs again. Not getting my hopes up, though.
Have to say im getting more than a little antsy i too need my Macca fix and soon As for the set list i cant see there being too many changes to be honest though i agree that Hope of Deliverance would be nice to hear.

Admittedly, "Money" is a Beatle-related song that I'd love to see added to the set.

I'd really like to hear Coming Up, Love Me Do, And I Love Her, Oh Darling, Goodnight Tonight, and Listen to What the Man Says. These are songs that I don't think he hardly ever plays in concert.

MONEY was sung by John. Can't see the point of Paul doing that song. Did he actually sing that at the Motown event. If yes, then maybe. I know he sound checks with HONEY DON'T and MATCHBOX, so why not add one of those??

He sang it -- and quite well.

Is time to bring live "Lovely Rita"-"Maxwell Silver Hammer" and "Your mother should know". For the solo years I hope in some songs from Flaming pie album like "Young boy" and "Beautiful night" and some songs from Tug of war like "Tug of war" and "Take it away"

I think he might add it but I don't want him to!

for next month I reckon he'll keep it more or less the same as in Brazil/Mexico keeping in ones like; Hope of Deliverance Things we said today Every Night Birthday could surprise us with Goodnight Tonight or Twist and Shout although he's got enough of his own material without adding more cover versions.
-
I'm thinking we'll get a few more "surprises" than I first thought. There are a lot of possibilities that have recently arisen...I'd place safe bets on... -Goodnight Tonight -Money (That's What I Want) -Coming Up -The Christmas Song -Wonderful Christmastime -Mull of Kintyre (Nearly the whole tour is Canadian!) And I think it would make sense for him to keep/ add the following more recent touring tracks... -Hope of Deliverance -My Valentine -The Word/ All You Need is Love

Goodnight Tonight...

Just watched the Motown deal with McCartney and Co. doing MONEY. I stand corrected, that would be very cool!

- Hope of deliverance - oh! darling - Lovely rita - every night - coming up - goodnight tonight x-not as exited about Ballroom dancing & money as others but wouldn't hate it if it was added. however, I don't think he should add any (more) covers if it means getting rid of some of his goodies
-
Ballroom Dancing would be an interesting addition, but' Take it Away' is higher on my list to hear live. Penny Lane and Michelle should feature more regularly.

I know, I know. But I can name a few even rarer songs we can only WISH for.... like what about the incredibly rare Hey Jude and The Long and Winding Road!? I know what you're thinking... you're thinking "dream on!" Why must Paul deprive us of these underrated gems?! He needs to cut out those overdone songs like Hope of Deliverance and bring these in!! What an amazing surprise! Also, why must a Beatle deprive us of all his Beatle hits?! We want to hear those every single time and they need to make 95% of the show. Why are his shows so Wings and solo heavy? And why doesn't Paul ever tell us those Hendrix stories? Oh, wait, sorry if I confused people because I'm sure most of you are completely unaware of those.
