Wow, that was 2 hours I will never get back! The first presale I kept getting error messages about the code, when it was exactly as per the email that I received. Then when second date came, I jumped on it but could not find decent seats. Finally ended up with second night, Oct. 4th, first level, 2 rows above floor. Better than no tickets at all, I guess. I will keep trying for floor and resell the ones I bought today if I can find better. The most important thing is that I AM GOING TO SEE PAUL AGAIN.
some people have been able to upgrade their tickets for other shows by calling ticketmaster. Not sure if this applies to your show, but it's worth looking into so you don't have to go through the hassle of selling.
Interesting! Has this been done during the presales or after general sales or right before the shows?
from my small sample of 2 people. They did way after the general sale. It was in Canada (though they were travelling there for the show) so not sure if it's a Canada thing or a TM thing...
I am in the US and I did this recently with my Ringo concert. I bought the tickets at the end of January (not a presale), and I upgraded last week, so there was a while in between. Not sure how soon you can upgrade. The tickets were for a side section and I read on here about the upgrading thing. I looked at the seating chart for available seats - the rule is that they will upgrade your tickets one time per concert for available seats that are the same price or higher, and you pay the difference. I won't lie, it wasn't easy. It took me almost 2 days of phone calls talking to different people, everyone telling me something different, transferring me (one time I was transferred to a TM in another country!!) but eventually it all worked out and was worth the effort and I ended up with Row 5 Center Stage tickets! (Granted, the cost doubled, as they were VIP tickets, but VIP tickets for Ringo don't even come CLOSE to the price of VIP tickets for Paul!) Good luck!
Thanks for the info, crazy4beatles and hygge!

My tickets came today! Now comes the almost four month wait for the show!

You all may want to check your tickets and the actual rows you are in. My tickets are in lower level, row F, which I THOUGHT would be the actual 6th row in the section....BUT NOOOOO.....it is the 15th row!!! What the seating chart on Ticketmaster did NOT show us is that there are several rows in front of Row A if you are in the lower level....starts with row AAA, then BBB, CCC, etc. Here is a virtual seating chart: https://oss.ticketmaster.com/aps/sackings/EN/buy/details/16KFL I am NOT happy.

Sorry, but I don't get it. The link is for the King's seating chart and doesn't include floor concert seating...

Really hope that's not the case on main floor as well, otherwise instead of row 14 we will be in like row 20!

To clarify, it is onlythe rows in the stands that are affected by the strange numbering/lettering, NOT the floor. So, if you have Row A either in the lower or upper level, that is NOT the first row in the section as one would be led to believe. There are approximately 8 rows BEFORE Row A in the stands. I purchased Row F in lower level thinking it was the 6th row up from the floor, but NOOOO.

Hi, I'm watching Beatles in Japan from 1966 and I'm looking at a photo on my wall from the 2016 tour and I have a Hofner question. All this time I thought Paul was playing a 500/1 1964 Hofner less the pick guard but when I view it and the 1962 side-by-side with the 1964, I just realized the 1964 has trim around the neck, but the one Paul is playing currently does not. Does anyone know, is the Hofner currently used really a 1962 because all this time I thought it was a 1964. Someone let me know? And yes, I need a ticket to Sacramento in October. I missed the pre-sale
-
PS: How do we know in this thread who is going to the show on the 4th and who is going to the show on the 5th? Or will there be two show threads as we move closer to October? And, so he has three shows in one week? the 4th the 5th and then the 8th in SoCal? That's crazy. Gawd I love Paul so much.

I am no instrument expert but someone told me that the one he uses now for concerts is not one of his originals. Maybe that explains the difference you see?

The one he uses now does have trim round the neck, he plays his original '63 Hofner on stage.

I'd say it's pretty likely that we'll get the night two variations in Sacramento, and I think he may toss in a surprise or two for the last leg of the tour. Nothing huge, but maybe he'll swap Can't Buy Me Love with All My Loving or maybe Magical Mystery Tour will come back for a night. I just get the sense that he'll do that like he did on Out There (One After 909, Got to Get You Into My Life), and On The Run (Hello Goodbye)

I hope you get those. In Cleveland, the one and only variation between nights 1 and 2 was the addition of Jet in place of Letting Go. He did NOT replace either Birthday or Hi Hi Hi with I Saw Her Standing There.
