Heard "Hard Day's Night" and "I've Got a Feeling" on Periscope. Thought he sounded good on both songs. The latter song exposes his voice much more and I thought it was the best I've heard on "Feeling" since the tour began. He especially sounded good on the "break solo". Wish Periscope would show more.

Not much to be found this time, it's rather quiet! The Philly audience must be too much in awe to post!
-
I heard several songs, and his voice is definitely raspier than the other night: he's doing that growling shout-y thing he does sometimes to cover over harder parts. But maybe I'm getting used to the voice, or getting caught up in the excitement of watching him, because it's not bothering me as much as in the past!

Uh-oh! Tweets: To the obnoxious girl in row 7 who brought the tri-fold, 5-foot poster to @PaulMcCartney #OneOnOne, we hate you. Love, everybody behind you. And to staff watching twitter please don't pick her to go onstage when she's being so disrespectful to other fans
I can see that the signs can be a problem! I have second row center for D.C. but am polite and nice; I am not bothering with a sign. Sorry that obnoxious fan made it miserable for you

Overall his voice was fine tonight; at least hearing it in the live setting. He sang MIA with a purpose tonight and it got the loudest ovation of the night. I was totally satisfied with the show and I think the casual fans that were there had a blast. Btw he left faster than Elvis has left the building. Fireworks were going off and he was gone ha. Off to Fenway for me. Hope all the diehards from the board had a good time as well

I'm glad you enjoyed the show! So sorry I couldn't make it. Quite a few shows that I've been at MIA got the loudest ovation! Just a crowd pleaser with first timers and regulars.

LOVED the "new" songs in the set, especially Here, There & Everywhere- haven't seen that since 2002 & it's always been special for me. We sat in a BB row 18 & everyone around us had a great time. Looked like a lot of sitters when walking up to main level - I think the vibe is usually much better on the floor. Can't wait til next week in Ontario!

If anyone is interested, I have a front row package ticket for Phila July 12th. I am going to soundcheck as I bought another package so I could manage to sit near my husband. I am willing to discount pretty deeply just to move it. If interested, please PM me. Eleanor
Darn, just saw this!

As puppywhimpers mentioned for sound check, (thank you!!) I want to add "Ram On". Jam Honey Don't Magical Mystery Tour Coming Up C Moon Let Em In I've Just Seen A Face ("Sometimes we do songs at soundcheck that we normally don't include in our show..".) Alligator I'll Follow The Sun (Did 3 extra end choruses..) Ram On (great whistling!) San Franscico Bay Blues Midnight Special Noodles around on the piano... ("...Get ready for your massage.....lie on your back...I'll be with you in a minute..") ( Girls start squealing in delight) ( "..Take it easy, girls.." ) Lady Madonna Overall, a very strong soundcheck!( it started early, about 415!) Great mini-concert!!! My impression was that Paul knew exactly what songs he intended to do and he was very friendly with the audience. But wow, was it hot on the field! Towards the end he acknowledged that it was "sizzling" for us and asked how we were doing. But we managed, thanks to the wonderful staff who had given us iced water and Shelley kindly gave everyone Phillies hats to block the sun.

An absolutely incredible concert. No question about it. From last year to this year, his voice is noticeably older. However, he was having so much fun last night. His energy was possibly the highest I've seen. You could just tell he was loving life and loving the audience. "Maybe I'm Amazed" was better than last year (which was pretty bad both nights I saw). My grandmother (who scarcely has anything bad to say) said that he sounded really hoarse on the whole encore. Personally, I thought the Abbey Road Medley was fine...but he was quite wobbly on "Yesterday" and he more or less shouted "Birthday" and "Hi, Hi, Hi". So as far as the voice goes: I think most people overreact on here and make harsh judgments from sh***y recordings. Yes, he's getting older but it's not glaringly noticeable for the entire three hours. I'm not sure what the solution is. The problem isn't his range, it's his durability. I hate to say this but, perhaps shortening the show a bit? So now...onto the setlist: this show has such a great flow to it. The "one on one" package is a strong one, stronger than "Out There" I think. That's not to say I like all these song selections more than the last few years, they just all compliment each other really well. It's been sequenced very nicely. All of the Beatle hits got the best response. This was a greatest hits/Beatles crowd. Even the deeper Beatle songs (You Won't See Me, Mr. Kite etc.) didn't get very big responses. You know what got a HUGE response? Four Five Seconds. I was stunned. So since this was my tenth time, of course I would've liked more mix up in the set. But, I heard seven songs for the first time tonight. I think that's pretty good no matter how you slice it. PLUS, he sounded just remarkable on "Here, There, and Everywhere"...my favorite song of all time...that I feel like I've been waiting all of time to hear. It was perfect. So lastly, the crowd. We were row 14, dead center. It was an incredible view and hands down the best we've had. Minutes before the show, a 20-something couple come staggering in with their bud lights and the seven-foot oafish male of the pair is naturally right in front of me. Alas, I'm pretty sure their musical library stops after The Beatles "1" album because they only stood for the super big hits. However, while seated they had to update every single form of social media known to man...and of course keep the bud lights coming. There were also A LOT of signs. I wanted to make one, but I'm glad I didn't. It would've been a waste as there were so many BIG signs up close on the floor. However, the two that got on stage were really good and were none of the obnoxious ones mentioned before. It was a mother at her 25th show and her sign said she was "spending her kids' inheritance"! The other was a young couple that followed him for the past five shows (in the states I assume) and wished to be engaged on stage. It was really sweet to witness. Lastly...Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen were about 4 rows in front of me! How cool is that! Till August...see you next time!

We were in CC and someone had a giant 2 poster boards taped together sign. Anytime Paul so much as glanced in our direction our entire view of the stage was blocked. So annoying. I find myself wishing they'd regulate sizes at least. Getting your album signed should not trump 10+ people's concert experience to be able to see and interact with the performers.
