This is a damaged super 8 film of Paul and Linda having some fun making a home movie. I restored what was left of this film many years ago and forgot about it. It is over exposed and out of focus in parts, but it is a personal treasure. However, I went to see Paul's fabulous concert in Auckland and it jogged my memory.. So this is my tribute to Paul and his family.

Thanks so much for posting this, Oobu!  This is such a treasure, enjoyed seeing it very much.  I'm glad they were able to have fun and laugh together in spite of what she was going through with her illness.

I think "We Got Married" would have been a good soundtrack for this too

His song "Angry" would have fit perfectly.

Paul and Linda were pretending to have a lively verbal argument? I've noticed before that each tended (tends) to use a lot of hand gestures, for some reason. I speculated it's because they have (had) such exciting fulfilling lives jam packed with everything that makes life especially good. Something like that. Neither Paul or Linda is Italian, French or Spanish--those nationalities use a lot of hand gestures when talking, don't they? Linda's Jewish though, which might account for hers? And her copious usage rubbed off on Paul, who emulated hers?

Yes, sadly, she was suffering from cancer when this was filmed, can tell by their ages and her shorn hair. Yet she still exhibited such wonderful joy. Very eloquent facial expressions from both, especially Linda. Thanks for this !

Its seems very elaborate (as in rehearsed)  for a genuine 'home movie' so I wonder if the footage  was intended to be cut into a promotional film for Linda's solo album but was ultimately not used?

Totally agree with you. This is not an everyday occurance.
