THE 'FRESHEN UP' TOUR 2018
-
Back in 2015 all of the May/June concerts in EU/UK were announced at once, right? I wish it would be same this time, so that fans can decide where to go to and start planning.
For example: we know there will be a concert in Paris, which could happen either after Vienna (December 7th/8th) or before Krakow (late November, along with other Euro cities).

I would bet at least for three cities of this list: Roma o Turín o Milán,
Barcelona, Frankfurt, Rotterdam , París.... and second concert in London. -

I appreciate the information Bob, but nobody is waiting around as if something could have been. Those that have the professional and financial accommodations to leave the country to see Paul McCartney have planned to do so. Those of us that cannot, are still here waiting for a single viable option. I know I speak for many when I say there presently are none and honestly, that isn't the worst thing in the world. Assuming Paul maintains his amazing height of health and happiness and can rock into 2019, let the rest of the world live it up with him too.
Besides, three stops on Elton John's farewell tour this fall already did a number on my concert budget early in the year
Well, I certainly hope I'm wrong and things magically appear. I just don't see it at this point. Congrats on the Elton John tickets!! I was unable to get a decent ticket to them and at this point I don't think that I could fit it in the budget at this point.
Also when talking Germany, the person forgot to mention Berlin which is a quite regular European stop.
Even though I don't see it, don't give up hope, There are still chances until there are none. As long as there are holes in the schedule, anything is possible. And remember , until it is announced by Paul and his people it doesn't matter what Me or anybody else says

Berlin: 1976, 1993, 2009, 2016... he played in Cologne more often in the past decade :P. We gotta look at territory he hasn't played in a while or never, like indeed Vienna (5 years) and Krakow (never). I really hope Eastern Europe gets to see him more. Wings Over Zagreb is 42 years ago...

I really don't think it'll be much more extensive for Europe, maybe 7 more tops but I think that is over estimating. Personally I hope he does as many European cities as he can. Been awhile or never for many of them

7 would be great. Since 2009 he always does 3 to 8 shows a leg in EU and throws in some surprising locations. Krakow is just perfect, but one other general admission standing location with cheap flights would be the icing on the cake.

Good luck, I hope it comes your way

Thank you! Standard seats in the stands for Allentown tour opener, and night #1 in DC, sprung for the VIP package, 10th row on Elton's side of the stage for night #2 in DC.
I'll hold onto hope for sure! The only time I've seen Paul tour in the autumn months was in 2012 and that announcement didn't come until mid-September.

Budapest would be amazing after 15 years. But I guess it is unlikely as Vienna is very close.

2012 had Rotterdam AND Antwerp. 2009 had Arnhem AND Cologne. Here's hoping.

Hamburg (2009) and Frankfurt am Main (1993) could get a show. Berlin would be great again but i wouldn't bet on it. Spain, Sweden, Finland and or Norway could also happen.

He hasn't been to Russia since 2011. I don't know whether the socio-political-economic situation would make it more difficult for him to return.

I don't think we'll see Paul in Russia again anytime soon, if ever again.

What are people's opinions on potential 2nd night dates in the UK? Ticketing this time round has been utterly disappointing. It's the worst experience I've ever had getting tickets and feel like a lot of fans have been let down. Only managed to snag VIP tickets for London and that was stressful enough! No Saturday night dates are also making it difficult for working fans to travel. It's certainly been hard work this time round!

I doubt Liverpool or Glasgow will get second nights - the O2 is more likely though.

I'm sure there will be a second concert in London, just like in 2015. How long after that first show was announced did the announcement come for the second date?

Almost right away as far as I remember.

I agree @katiecockroft The ticketing process is like it's being run from a cave in Afghanstan.
Don't know why they haven't copped they need a better method by now but are we really surprised...
