Folks, keep an eye on these VIP lamenent with the videos attached across your feeds. Seems like people from different parts of the country are getting hints about upcoming shows in their areas
Friends have reported hints for Chicago, LA and San Diego I am hearing
That is music to my ears if Los Angeles or San Diego gets added because I live ab hour away from both of those cities. I just hope I will have $1600 saved up by the time tickets go on sale. I want a floor seat as close as I can get!
Yes, look at those Facebook feeds intently. It'll say something like... Los Angeles! Tour dates could be announced really soon! Tour laminates now available..blah,blah,blah
which is a new and interesting way of dropping hints. What I also noticed tho, is the language says the laminiates have "codes that COULD allow access to presale." (emphasis mine). I don't know what that means, but if I shell out money for one of those, it sure better have a code that works!

someone I know in Wisconsin said they are hearing those Green Bay/Lambeau Field rumours again; I remember those going round a few years ago. Anyone else hear anything? So far all of these 2019 shows are indoors but I suppose he could do a stadium or two...tho if he's playing Madison, would he also do Green Bay?

Paul McCartney Facebook ad has Green Bay talking
he ad says "GREEN BAY! Tour dates could be announced really soon!" Click here to view the ads on the official Paul McCartney Facebook page.
It then instructs people to purchase tour laminates for access to presale tickets.
This ad has been the source of speculation and whispers and rumors. Could Sir Paul, the man who wrote some of the greatest songs ever, be coming to Lambeau Field?
Action 2 News reached out to the Green Bay Packers about a potential concert featuring the former Beatle.
"Thanks for reaching out. We do not have an announcement regarding a potential concert for 2019," said Packers spokesperson Aaron Popkey.
We also reached out to PMI Entertainment Group, which manages the Resch Center and Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena. They had no announcement to share with us.
We've also reached out to McCartney's team but have not heard back.
McCartney continues to announce dates for his "Freshen Up Tour." He's already announced a June 6, 2019 stop at the Kohl Center in Madison.
For now, fans of the legend can only speculate where and when Sir Paul will play in Green Bay.
The last concert at Lambeau Field was Billy Joel in June 2017. An estimated 45,000 fans attended the show.

The registration period is closed now, but when you went to register for verified fan (for the latest 3 concerts) it asked for a code? The reason nightfish and I said the # on the back of your AMEX card was because that’s what it was in the past. I have no idea wtf is going on with these asinine verified fan presales.
Verified Fan requires registration and then waiting until the night before the presale to see if you will be granted a code which allows you to unlock the presale and purchase. If you get put on the waitlist, there is no guarantee you will get a code and therefore you will not be able to participate. The codes get texted in the morning on the day of the presale. I hate this system because TM is deciding who gets to shop and it has nothing to do with what kind of "fan" you are.
Most Amex presales on TM have two kinds of tickets - "regular" ones which can usually be purchased without any kind of code, just by selecting that ticket type in the dropdown. - or "premium" ones which need to be unlocked, and that's always the 800 # on the back of the higher level cards - Gold and up. This time, for Paul, ALL Amex tickets required the 800 number to unlock them, didn't matter what kind of card you had.
Perhaps Amex and PM.com and TM all assumed that Amex cardholders already know about the 800 number unlock and so they didn't bother posting details about it, I guess.
I know everything you said in your first paragraph already, however, your 2nd paragraph was not true for Greenville. I needed no code at all. Just an AMEX card (since the pm.com code thing -PAULFRESHENUP1 was not working for about 5 hours!) I bought Gold VIP without a problem.
The original poster (ospreylady) is the one who is confused. I’m not sure if she already registered for verified fan. I hope so, because it’s too late now. She hasn’t come back since 8 hours ago. The New Orleans presale is tomorrow at 10 am local time right? So people should be receiving their verified fan codes tonight or tomorrow early morning? What happened the last time they did verified fan?
I am not confused.....I have done many presales in the past, but never this verified fan thing...it’s just that nothing works like it used to. I have an amex card and did not sign up for this verified fan BS....in the past any Amex card holder had access to presale tickets....that’s the only reason I GOT an amex card and That’s how I have gotten my tickets. Guess it’s all different now.

Sorry, you seemed like you were. You never said what show you were trying for and if you ever made it through the verified fan process. I see now you never completed it. You didn’t answer my question: when you tried to register they asked for a code? That makes no sense. Did you read all of nightfish’s posts? He/she explained the process very well. Paul’s people keep confusing the situation by announcing some dates, doing Verified Fan, then the next batch (that included Greenville and Lexington) they switched it to a pm.com code (PAULFRESHENUP1) which was a disaster because it was 5 hours late going online. Only AMEX cardholders could get tickets in Greenville. So I guess they decided to go back to Verified Fan (which is totally unfair)

Hey guys, excuse my ignorance....but are there specific codes for specific cities? Or once you get an access code can you use that for any announced city? I have bought tons of tickets since the 1989 tour to last year’s but this time around it’s seems so complicated.

well, got the code tonight for New Orleans to try to use it tomorrow...see what happens

You got your Verified Fan code texted to you tonight? That is new. They normally text the codes in the morning and tell you what time you re able to use it. Or did you buy one of the laminates? Those codes have been emailed. Either way, good luck and let us know what happens!

Ah thanks. They have so many different presale options going on for this tour and with changing the processes for each one, it's helpful to know more details. Best of luck getting the tickets you want!

Pretty much a dud for me...some seats on the floor came up but way back in section D beside mix booth; too far away and none in section A/B...most tickets were these hot seat packages at very high dollars and not worth it IMO.
You are right about th epresale options; lots of them. I wasn't aware of Album pre-order presale; no idea what that is..haha
will keep trying today, see how it goes
Glad I lucked out for Edmonton tickets!

My code was emailed to me but I am still waiting for the laminate? Not if the same code will be on it but the emailed said I could use the code for dates that have not been announced yet so I will save it just in case.
On Paul's official facebook page they advertised that they heard rumors that Los Angeles will be added!I hope Los Angeles will be confirmed, because I am going if it does happen!!!!! I just hope I have enough saved up by the time tickets go on sale!
-
Scrolling through Paul's upcoming shows on Ticketmaster, I noticed that there was an option for Perth (nib Stadium) on New Year's Day - January 1st at 7pm. The link is broken, but the option is there.

Can someone give me a n estimate so I kn ow how much to save up for? I think I can afford. one $1600 ticket for that spot. I just know he is going to add Los Angeles next !!!!! I can strongly feel it!
Hot Sound Package, rows 3-7 will run you $1600 per ticket. Gold VIP was $700 for me, but I am not on the floor. Those may cost more, like $850. Don’t know how much Silver VIP is, but maybe $100-$200 less than Gold.
Got to give you all credit, I could not even imagine paying that much for one ticket to anything.

Seems unlikely he would play Madison and Green Bay but who knows. I'd be thrillled for Lambeau Field as I missed out on Madison (so far) while undergoing pancreas surgery. So keeping my fingers crossed. I had contacted the Packers last year about the possibility of getting Paul. They asked if I was a promotor...LOL...I should have said yes and I'll only take 5% of the gate! On the road to recovery so I can make it to the UK shows in December.

If he plays Green Bay, I'll bet it turns out to be Resch Center instead. Just a hunch.

Paul is worth every penny in my opinion for that amount. I would never spend that much on a concert ticket to see another musician or band. Only for Paul would I spend $1600 and possibly get called up on stage would be even mor e worth while to pay for too! I just hope I have enough saved up by the time he announces Los Angeles or San Diego dates! I would LOVE to attend his sound check!
