Okay, found out the scoop from my friend. Neither of the Amazon ones are colored vinyl!
She wrote me this:
Cheaper one says-
140g Double Vinyl, single jacket with 16 tracks (14 songs + 2 instrumentals).
More expensive one says-
180g Double Vinyl, unique tri-gatefold packaging with 16 tracks (14 songs + 2 instrumentals).
The vinyl weight and packaging is just different. Not taking a chance on this and I think I’m right because Amazon hasn’t been offering the color vinyls.
Thanks anyway, I would certainly like to save some $ where I can. I do try to research this stuff carefully.
Paul has so many versions of these albums I get confused.
This is where she ordered the colored vinyl ones from:
https://store.udiscovermusic.com/search.html?term=McCartney+coloured+vinyl
I know, a lot more expensive, but she has had problems with Paul’s site before and refuses to order from them.
I think that the colored vinyl is only available from his site or this udiscovermusic.com which is out of the U.K. I don’t think you can get it anywhere in the U.S., but I could be wrong.
Thanks for clarifying Nancy. 3 vinyl versions (double album, double album black vinyl with deluxe packaging and extra tracks and same but on coloured vinyl) and 2 CD versions (standard and deluxe/extra tracks). Coloured vinyl only available via his website or udiscover - both now sold out on both of them.
I can see a normal double album (2 Records in one sleeve) but cannot see a deluxe black vinyl with fold out sleeve. Am I missing somethingfrom the site?

Coloured vinyl version now showing as "sorry, sold out" here in the UK. Black vinyl version not due for release till 5th October. Ordered the HMV exclusive version.
What is the HMV exclusive edition. Can only see a CD - not Vinyl. uDiscoverMusic site only shows the standard dbl album (2 Records in one sleeve). Cannot see a black vinyl equivalent of the deluxe set on their site. Notice that eBay opportunists are already selling the coloured vinyl set for a whopping £130.

My friend just emailed me that she had checked and it was sold out! I see you guys already discovered that. They will probably get more in stock, but I would just order it from Paul’s site because the price is better. How can people already have the colored vinyl on eBay if it’s not out yet? Seems like that should not be allowed until the seller actually had the product in their possession!

... and now it is official.
Opening Station / I Don't Know / Come On To Me / Happy With You / Who Cares / Fuh You / Confidante / People Want Peace // Hand In Hand / Dominoes / Back in Brazil / Do It Now / Caesar Rock / Despite Repeated Warnings / Station II / Hunt You Down - Naked - C-Link.
I'm assuming that on the vinyl long player there will be eight tracks per side and that People Want Peace will close Side 1 and that Hand in Hand will open side 2 but that's only an assumption on my part.

Here in the UK at least, its like ordering a dining room suite from a showroom and then having to wait 6 weeks for them to make it !!

Waiting not so patiently.

Fuh You was played this morning on Serius Radio...twice! Good song! I hope it gets a lot of airplay!
-
Love 'Fuh You'! Very different wasn't expecting that!
-
Lyric video! Fuh You!

Who do you think he’s talking about in the song? Because he says he was “out on the town” when he met her, it sounds like Linda. But he was also out in the Hamptons at some shop when he ran into Nancy.

Very mysterious song... seems like "out on the town" means late night drinking and partying with friends.
From these lyrics, sounds like he finds the woman intriguing but is skeptical that they might be putting on a false face for him
"Come on baby now, let me look at you
Talking 'bout yourself, try to tell the truth
I can stay up half the night, trying to crack your code
I can stay up half the night, but I would rather hit the road..."
If it was about Linda, I think he was interested enough at the time that he wouldn't have wanted to hit the road, and would have tried spending as much time as possible with her... just my opinion anyway...
One line in the song that I found interesting was
"I just wanna know how you feel
Wanna love the soul, proud and real
You make me wanna go out and steal
I just wanna fuh you, I just wanna fuh you"
Was intrigued by the word "steal"
Did he mean
You make me wanna go out and steal.... your heart
or
You make me wanna go out and steal... you from someone else
or
You make we wanna go out and steal.... you away so we can be alone/together/whatever, lol
Loved the song, and found the lyrics very interesting, and intriguing. It has a very catchy beat, and I've listened to it five times now, will probably continue to listen to it again several more times today

Maybe neither? From Paul:
Sharing a title with one of Paul’s own paintings, Egypt Station is the first full album of all-new McCartney music since 2013’s international chart-topping NEW. Preceded by two of its tracks just released as double A-sides – plaintive ballad 'I Don’t Know' and raucous stomper 'Come On To Me' — Egypt Station was recorded between Los Angeles, London and Sussex, and produced by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Beck, Foo Fighters) — with the exception of the newly available 'Fuh You,' which was produced by Ryan Tedder.
Paul recalls the process behind the new single: “With this one I was in the studio with Ryan Tedder whereas the rest of the album has been made with Greg Kurstin… We were just thinking of ideas and little pieces of melody and chords and the song just came together bit by bit. And then I would try and make some kind of sense of the story. So it was like ‘Come on baby now. Talk about yourself. Tell the truth, let me get to know you’ and basically I wanna know how you feel, you make me wanna go out and steal. I just want it for you. So that was the basic idea and it developed from there… sort of a love song, but a raunchy love song. There you go – fuh you."

I hope there are going to be better songs on ES than the three mediocre efforts I've heard so far?

I would assume these are three of the better songs if they are released as singles and songs to promote the rest of the album.
