Hey all
Any boardies going to be around on their own tomorrow? I might be meeting someone to buy a single ticket off them and just feeling a bit apprehensive- don’t know why! If anyone’s around maybe we could meet? Safety in numbers and all that!
Let me know!
update: just managed to buy one off the echo arena website in block 1!! So I’m not so nervous now I’ve definitely got a ticket! But yes i’m going on my own if any boardies wanna meet up
Hey Katie,
I'm travelling up from 'the south' for this show and I'll be on my own. I'm staying at the Hard Days Night hotel (where else, haha!) and doing the hospitality package. As it happens the hospitality takes place at the hotel which is a result. Nice and easy! I thought I'd splurge on this trip as I've never seen Paul in Liverpool before and it was the easiest way to secure a great seat. I don't know how messaging works on here / how to stay in touch but it would be great to meet you and other boardies either before or after the show... Or both! It's always better to share these experiences with other fans!
Andy

Can someone going tonight confirm the merch prices once they've been to the show please?
Also, if you can confirm it's cash and card payments that they take, that'd be great.
Thanks in advance.

hello aall, sorry, i am new here!! I am so excited , I wanted to ask you.. do you have any idea, have you heard something about a new secret show in Liverpool ?? I will be at the concert tomorrow, but i was thinking...maybe there are possibilities for a new secret gig
I arrived in Liverpool Sunday and asked at the Cavern if such a show was possible. They laughed and said, "Paul who?" Honestly, even though tickets went so fast, there really doesn't seem to be much buzz around town. Even the Beatleswalk guide I met yesterday said it seems a bit slow. I was the only one on the walk.
I see, interesting....hmm, thank you for the answer.... i still hope maybe tomorrow someth can appear. Meanwhile i am here, hope you enjooooy the moment!!

As line-checked in Copenhagen, and soundchecked in full when the crowd got kicked out: 'Wonderful Christmastime' just then. Australia got robbed last year, but 13 December proved to be not too early for it in Europe.
Plus 'I Saw Her Standing There' with competition winners on stage...
-
Wonderful show, incredible from a 76 year old. Not too sure about I Saw Her Standing There tonight Also would have liked to see Penny Lane, but the overall performance was brilliant.

Haha, I hope my "..."'s were clear (I saw a live stream.)
Glad you enjoyed the show! Interesting how 'Penny Lane' is now a no-go. In 2015 he soundchecked it, didn't play it. In 2018 he teased it on social media, didn't play it. To be fair, in 2010 I heard it during an open air rehearsal in Dublin, and he was absolutely struggling through it, also with the combination of that complicated bass line and singing at the same time. And this was during his last good vocal years...

Yes I got it Didn't know there was a live stream of the show. Makes sense regarding Penny Lane, although I thought Maybe I'm Amazed sounded better than in 2015. The merchandise wasn't great IMO, I didn't like any of the t shirts so I settled for a poster.

I agree on the merchandise. T-shirts left a lot to be desired. I was hoping for one that had just the Liverpool show but none to be seen.
Even though I was prepared it was still shocking not to hear Yesterday. I also purposely avoided listening to the new Egypt Station songs until I heard them live. I thought they were great.

Yep I wanted one with just Liverpool on it as well. Yesterday needed to be included, the crowd were great on Hey Jude and going into Yesterday would have been well received. Agree with the ES songs, apart from Fuh You which everyone left to get drinks lol.

No "Yesterday"?!?!?! He HAS to perform that when he tours the states next year. I will cry if he doesn't.
What was the opening song?
