Woke up at 5 AM (my local time), logged in, no tickets on the floor, kept trying, after a few times a ticket came up. I didn't even think too much about it, as there was a 2-minute clock running backwards before the ticket would be released. It says "BL D", does that mean Block D?

There was no "box office collection" option, so I had to pay for Secure Courier delivery. Hopefully it will be delivered before my departure, otherwise I will have to ask them to print it again at the box office. Would Ticketmaster do that?
Yeah BL D is block D, I got confused mine said BL 4 and though it was in block B on the floor, but its upper tier. I didn't think too much and booked it as well, slightly upset since I didn't read it properly.
Don’t be upset I go to the arena at least 6 times a year and block 4 isn’t a bad view at all,not that high up and I’ll put good money you’ll se a sight more than being on the floor

If i manage to get a ticket i'll be there, not panicking tbh, each time Paul has played there on the afternoon of the concert more seats are released,so while its a fast and loose way to get a ticket (without resorting to paying silly prices),i've found there's no need to panic this far out, though i'll grant you its always nice to know where you're sitting etc.

Hi all,
Hope you are all well!
I managed to get myself a hot sound package for Liverpool gig (super excited!!!)...I've never done the VIP packages when seeing Macca before so was just wondering what to expect really?
Thanks!
Will let someone from U.K. answer specifics, as I’ve only done U.S. Hot Sound, but it is the same except we also get a meal (and it costs almost double what you paid for the package!) I have a question - did you need a code to get the package?
Thanks! I just went through to the site that was offering the presale for the VIP Packages and queued up, didn't need a code for it surprisingly! I saw posts on twitter that there were problems with Ticketmaster and the general ticket pre-sale? not a big fan of this Verified fan pre sale really.
Made up I got myself a ticket though, always wanted to see him in my hometown with this experience but never been in the position to do so, can't wait for my 9th Macca gig now!

No, codes weren't needed. And Hot Sound is different in the UK; there's no meal included. They say it's due to the timing of the soundcheck, which makes no sense as there's the same time left as there is in the US, I think. The meal is included in a separate ticket package called "Hospitality" which does not include soundcheck.

So it's either food or Paul? Not hard to make that decision.

Check the junk mail on your inbox. I have an account with the Echo Arena and I’ve received an email about a presale starting tomorrow 10am. I was unsuccessful in the verified fan presale

It just says Paul McCartneys coming home as the headline. The email says there's an online priority booking starting tomorrow at 10am until Sunday at 10am. There is a link that takes you to the Echo Arena website for the presale.

Yeah my 2 friends got a presale email from the echo arena but nothing in my inbox. If anyone has any spares then I would aprreciate if they could post here. Gutted but looks like not going to get to see macca this year in UK.

Anyone else stuck in the liverpool pre sale queue?

yep been in there 57 minutes, why do these sites think it helps to use queue systems, it clearly doesn't

Haven't moved in about 20 mins either! Think we're all in the same boat
-
ha i love it - lets us sit in the queue for 1 hour 35, with the promise on screen that if "it sells out before it's your turn we will let you know", and what does it do when it says well done it's now your turn - it goes to a page saying "there are no available seats for the selected performance".
So thanks Liverpool! I ignored my son (well, kind of!) to watch a screen count down for 95 minutes... and then turns out it lied!
-
Thanks for letting us know - after nearly two hours, I've barely passed the half-way mark!
Hopefully some reasonable seats will turn up in the general sale... -
Got tickets in the Liverpool pre sake not brilliant but who cares I’m going and that’s all that matters I suppose,I have to say the que system they use there is much better than a few years ago where the website would crash without warning..not perfect but that’s the way it is sadly
-
Presales an absolute waste of time. Been in the queue since 10 and haven’t moved past halfway yet

I phoned. They've sold out. More messing about!
-
Exactly the same for me as it was for Eee Cor Blimey. Joined the queue just before 10am, watched the little queue-man move to about three-quarters down the bar and then halt for about 40mins. He then started to slowly move again until I was at the front on the queue - only for an on-screen message to appear about not having any seats left.
waste of a day off.
waste of 97 minutes.
Good luck to everyone who’ll be trying to obtain tickets in Monday’s general sale.

Will there be any difference between trying for tickets on the Echo Arena website and Ticketmaster website tomorrow? Does Echo get its own allocation for its website or will it just be directing to Ticketmaster? Cheers!
