-
No luck in Verified fan, No luck in Pre-sale and no luck today...What a joke. Looks like I'll not get to see macca in the UK after all. Should have put on an extra day due to demand.
-
Utter nightmare with the tickets. Got on both arena and ticketmaster. Ticketmaster off sale rhe second they are supposed to be on. No luck since. Still in que for arena website. Joke.
Anyone else have problems or got lucky?
-
I was one of the lucky ones and got tickets Friday,it’s always been hectic trying to get tickets for Paul from the arena but this time, seems, shall we say much more difficult for most people,I’m trying to grab a seat for my son as he now want to go but as with others having no luck anywhere, either the arena or ticketmaster all seem to ave gone.
its going to be a case of wait and see for him I think but I wonder if people are getting their as the thinking may be that this could be the last time Paul plays here?
i don’t know of course but it’s bad trying seemingly for everyone this morning.
-
I didn't get a Verified Fan' code and had no luck in the venue pre-sale on Friday. Ticketmaster was saying no tickets left bang on 10am this morning and I've just got to the front of the Echo Arena queue to be told there are no tickets.
It turns out that several hundred'fans' who had better luck have quickly found out that they can no longer go so they've put their tickets on StubHub etc...
Bring back the fan club pre-sales.

The Macca team need to sort out how to allow real fans to get tickets.I joined Wings Fun club as a kid and have ALL his releases yet it was impossible today to get tickets.Who is buying them?

Supposed “fans” who are really scalpers. The tickets were all snapped up in the pre-sales so none were left by today.

So unfair.I have seen Paul at every concert tour in the uk since my big sister took me to Stretford(Manchester) in 1973.The Echo arena was such a problem in 2015 that I ended up paying £450 for a ticket. It should not be this demanding to get a ticket yet it gets harder each year.I repeat Paul and team you need to fix it so that real long standing and loyal fans have a real chance to see their hero.

This doesn't happen. A pre-sale only has a small percentage of tickets available for sale.

That's absolutely not true - pre-sales only make some of the tickets available (usually a third) not all of them.

I changed my flight to Thailand to see Macca as I was convinced I would get tickets as never had problem before. Now I have Lost a week holiday and no concert...gutted!

Makes for rather grim reading

I'm really sorry to hear that, but don't give up! Sometimes more tickets are released closer to the concert date.
I hope you can make it, I'll be glad to see you again. Good luck!

How do you explain no tickets being available during the regular sale for most of those who logged on at 10 am on the dot? Is it just that there are thousands of people all logging in simultaneously and so the computer just randomly puts them in a queue and most of the people sit in the queue forever, then are told it’s sold out (because the people ahead of them got all the tickets that were available?)

That's exactly what it is.

I'm reminded of the Sniping hardware used on auction sites where the technology allows you to place a late bid literally a second away from close of auction. I'm sure technology exists that allow companies to apply for tickets literally within a second of the start of sale, and certainly faster than a human being can react,no matter how quick the individual is.

I must admit the more I hear about it being sold out at 10am the more the whole episode starts to smell

Thanks Carlos. Great to meet you last time.
Just paid £500 on Viagogo for 2 tickets (Side Stage View) as couldn't take a chance on not seeing him.
Only forked out the cash due to being bonus month in work last month.
Will still look out for better seats thou as I guess this is maybe the last chance to see Paul before he quits or the voice really goes worse.
Good luck everyone with their search...

Ticketmaster holding back tickets for champagne packages and their own reselling program, touting spinner bots, the artifical creation of scarcity to have people make panic moves, not knowing tickets will go under face value closer to the date. And then indeed a gig high in demand and it being a rat race. But not as big in demand as they want us make believe.
The queueing system Ticketmaster uses since a few years is just another way of cutting people out. It's a matter of seconds. If you're even in that queue, you already lost. I used a direct post-queue link for the Liverpool sale for a laugh and plenty of seats came up.
