How can I hug Paul?
-
I will go to a Paul concert in the 5th of December to Wien. This is the best thing what ever happened to me and I just can’t say how happy I am. But the essence, why I need your help is that I -as everybody- really, really, really, really, really, really wanna hug him. He means everything to me, he is my exemplar and my love at the same time. I'm 15 and I love him more than any other thing in the world! He is the most talented, the cutest and the sexiest man in the world! I would do everything for a big Paul-hug! ....And as everybody knows, Paul always invites some fans to the stage. But how? Is there anybody here who has been in Paul concerts so far and knows how it works? So what should I do if I want a hug? Does Paul choose the fans who can go to the stage? Or his employeds? And how he/they choose those lucky fans? And when? During the concert? Or before the concert? Or they just say the numbers of some chair? Or Paul reads the signs of the fans from the stage and invite some people who wrote something what Paul finds funny/cute? Or he invites just those fans who has got VIP tickets? My ticket was very expensieve, it was 415$ and it’s close enough to the stage, on the right side of it. So maybe Paul will be able to see my sign...but it still isn’t a VIP ticket. What do you think? Have I got a chance? What can I do? Please help me, if you know something about the fan invitation!
Thank you so much!
P.S.: I hope, you understand my english, I’m not fluent in english (But I started to learn this language because of Paul) -
That makes two of us. I dont freaking care about his autograph. All I want is a hug and my pic taken with him. But how to get a hug from him well my suggestion get seats as close as you can and rhink of a creative sign that he will notice and maybe even mention it onstage. Thats what Im gonna try to do if he comes to the U.S in California.
Other than that the only way to hug Paul is in our dreams and darn it anyhow I had so many dreams about him hugging me is not even funny in fact Paul hugged me in my dream just the other night. Man I did not want to wake up I WANTED him to continue holding me! *sigh*

Ditto to everything they said. Get in line - we ALL want a hug! I have been waiting since I was 8 years old, since late 1963! I had VIP seats, signs at soundcheck and the concerts three times with no luck. I have given up. ️

I want much more than a hug--I want a "fuh" LOL, oops

Susy I can only assume that was a typo, and you meant you wanted a "huh" (our new word for hug! "I just wanna huh you" )
Seriously though, I think you have to put a special request on a sign in order to be considered to go onstage. The signs that read "It's my birthday, please sign my arm" or "My daughter is 5 and can play guitar" or something like that are more likely to be asked onstage than signs who don't have requests. Just my opinion anyway. But the important thing is to just go and have fun without any expectations at all. You'll have a great time and won't be disappointed that way

This is what actually happens - Paul's team chooses who gets the chance to meet him on stage.
Everyone who gets pulled up is chosen and prepped in advance by Paul's team, most likely for security reasons, which totally is understandable.
You have as much chance as anyone else in the venue of being chosen - having a VIP ticket or a Soundcheck ticket doesn't give you any more of a chance than someone with a standard priced ticket.

That’s not exactly true. Going to soundcheck gives you one extra chance over someone who has just a standard ticket.

Maybe bring along three children, triplets perhaps, dressed in Sgt Pepper uniforms. That might help.

If all else fails, you can always borrow Nancy R's blowup Paul doll.

Title of this thread:
How can I hug Paul?
That's a question that's been asked by countless females the world over since the early 1960s, perhaps since time itself began. If you ever find the answer, please let us know.
