Thanks, 0obu! Enjoyed seeing this, because it shows their playful comraderie, and the fun they had together in just creating their music. Looks like Linda and Yoko will be seen in this too! And I'm glad they still plan to release it in theaters so we can see it on the big screen.

Peter Jackson gives FIRST LOOK at upcoming film The Beatles: Get Back

*Fingers crossed* I will be in Liverpool when the film premieres! I think they might be having a showing of it at Philharmonic Hall.

The clip does make it look very very promising. Will there be an album release, one with the name: "The Beatles: Get Back" with all new mixes??? We have the original, which I'm not a big fan of because of the over-production and heavenly choirs, and we have ithe same lineup...that is"Naked." Knowing Apple, they likely won's miss an opportunity for a tie-in. But....maybe they shouldn't on this project....all new mixes. While they're at it, I would hope that someday "Rubber Soul" and "Revolver" will get the deluxe treatment. "Rubber Soul" would benefit the most in my opinion. Too often the vocals are on one side of the mix and the instruments on the other. It could sound spectacular. We know that just by listening to how much beterr and richer the remixed "Nowhere Man" sounded on "The Yellow Submarine Songtrack" album...as compared to how it sounds on "Rubber Soul." And that remix was done about 20 years ago!!! While they're at it, a proper remix, if not a proper production, of George's "It's All Too Much" is way overdue. I can't believe George Martin was in the studio when that song was recorded. It sounds slapdash. It should/would qualify as a rock classic....were it better produced. The ending goes on too long...when they start singing/mouthing "too much, too much, too much." Up to that the ending is funky and fun to dance to. The lyrics are great, to me. I especially like the....."all the world's a birthday cake, so take a piece but not too much...."

I can't really complain about getting so much material. But I was kind of looking forward to a version you could go see in the theatres. Wonder if they'll sell some kind of DVD version if if this is Disney Plus only. I can't imagine there would be a deluxe version of this though!

I'm going to get Disney+ just for the month of November and then cancel it!
I should hope by May 2022 a DVD/Blu-ray set will be released of the entire 6 hours!

I agree to seeing it in a theater.
I watched Let It Be (the first movie) multiple times in the theater. A nearby theater would show oldies and classics. One time they played A Hard Day's Night, Help and then Let It Be. Ah a great flashback moment. -

Ah a great flashback moment. In early 1981 I went to see Beatlemania (live band) with a gf (who later was my maid of honor) and then went to the Midnight movie with my fiancé to see Let It Be! Oh, to be 25 again! (I posted that on Mitch Weismann's FB page in a thread he had started and he liked my post! He was the original Paul in Beatlemania and looked SO much like him! Only drawback - he couldn't play lefty.)

Guys - it's clear as day on the Beatles.com website - "feature-length film in theaters August 27"; THEN - the 6-hour documentary on Disney in November...

....and hopefully a blu-ray / dvd release in December, just in time for Christmas?

They still have the old press release up, but this new one certainly seems to supercede it. Yesterday's press release never mentions a theatrical release, and every article I saw descibes the project as having become a three part documentary. If they still intend to release a version for the theatres in two months, they probably ought to say it again!

Still not crystal clear - is that just old news and obsolete? Only time will tell.

Praying there will be a DVD, since I don’t have a computer to stream. Verizon is supposed to have a free trial for Disney+

I really, REALLY want to see this in a theater!
