So true...it appears that's how loved ones who have passed on communicate with those still here. Not in every dream with them, but one can tell which ones. Those dreams are very vivid and good things happen and they feel so comforting and special. You're with them again. I felt like my mother and I were like Lucy and Ethel going on various adventures, she popped up so often; not lately, though, and I hope it starts up again. Frequently, like before. I really loved reading this.

Sounds like you and your mother were really close. I'm sure you'll dream of her at a time when you most need to see her again.
Paul seems like a spiritual person, who has been inspired by his dreams for many years. He first heard "Yesterday" through a dream, and he said his mother came to him in a dream, as if to comfort him, with the words "Let it Be." I also remember reading somewhere that when he met Rusty Anderson, or when Rusty first auditioned for him, Paul was happy to meet him and said, "I had a dream about you the other night," or words to that effect, which was a sign he was meant to be in his band. I'm sure he receives inspiration and guidance through his dreams, and if he sees John and George and Linda and his parents in them, I'm sure that's a great comfort to him.

That dream Paul had about Rusty was after he had been in the band several years. Rusty was saying how he used to dream about playing with the Beatles when he was a kid, so hearing that Paul had a dream about him blew his mind!

Thanks for clarifying about the dream he had about Rusty, Nancy! Couldn't remember the story exactly.

Thanks, Lady Leslie, that was sweet of you. Was it you who wrote Paul was crying or about to cry singing "Maybe I'm Amazed" at the Austin festival last weekend? He's cried often before singing "Here Today" and it's always so touching and poignant to see. I love seeing he's not a hardass, callous and unfeeling; not that I ever really thought he was. I love that he gets so emotional. He truly misses his loved ones who have gone on before. I never thought he would not ! Somebody from a hip alternative type L.A. church I wrote when my father passed wrote back that "he is only one step ahead of you." Which was consoling, in its way. I don't know why I wrote there. That was over twenty years ago. He doesn't appear as often in dreams as Mama. Apparently he loves it where he is, which is great !
I think I mentioned somewhere in here my peculiar dream John Lennon appeared in just a couple months back. It was about a week after I really got into hearing "The White Album" again-- Lennon popped up in his Sgt. Pepper costume with a serious look on his face and was trying to draw me into wherever he is now ! I pulled back and my heart was beating rapidly a mile a minute as if about to burst through. I wasn't ready to go where he is. I would have thought he'd be pulling on Yoko like that, to join him, LOL
It's wonderful Paul has said he experiences such a vivid, lively dream life. In nocturnal sleeping dreamscapes...

Hi Susy! I think it was jl4761 who wrote about Paul crying in Austin while singing Maybe I'm Amazed.
It's amazing how many fans have dreamed about Paul. About 4 years ago, before I became an ardent PM fan, I had a dream about Linda. I didn't know that much about her, but she was showing me an album of her photographs and her daughters were with her, and we were talking about the photographs. She said Paul was outside working in the garden, and I saw him pulling weeds or something and he waved to me like he would anyone, lol
Then about two years ago, my laptop went dead where the power and battery weren't working... and I was going to take it in to be repaired. It was completely dead. The next morning I was making breakfast, and all of a sudden I heard "Mind Games" by John Lennon.... I went into the other room and found my laptop was ON and fully powered and was playing a video on YouTube of John's song. I just put my hands to my face like Sigourney Weaver in Ghostbusters when the eggs popped out of the carton and were cooking on the counter, lol... anyway, I hadn't had the video of John up before my computer went dead, so am still trying to think of a logical explanation as to how that happened, lol... One good thing is that it got me more interested in the Beatles and Paul & Linda and their love story, etc. Somehow I've always known that sometimes things happen that just can't be explained, lol, and I just go with it.
I think it's great that Paul is a spiritual person and I'm sure it comforts him to be with his loved ones again in his dreams.

What a fantastic anecdote about the Lennon song "Mind Games" suddenly playing on YouTube on your previously "dead" p.c. ! I completely believe you; once I powered off my p.c., it was turned off and a woman's voice suddenly came out of it saying something kind of loud but I couldn't make out the words, and I jumped about 50 feet ! One time the television got strange and Dr. Raymond Moody and a panel discussing the Afterlife suddenly came on. That's a cool dream you had about Linda and her daughters, and Paul outside in their garden--I've had two dreams she appeared in briefly, and several about Paul; in one, both Paul and George were dancing to loud music and partying with me. I danced with them in a cool looking apartment adorned with modern art, and we were having a ball, LOL; in one with just George, George was a "pied piper" in a lush forest leading a group of hippies while I looked on. He played guitar and sang while he strolled. Dreamed some good ones about Paul but can't recall the particulars. I should have written them down. I dreamed one with John in it I'm embarrassed to tell here, I can't tell what he and I were doing (laughs), my face turns red just thinking about it

Thanks, Susy! I've had dreams I'd be embarrassed to talk about too, lol glad you understood what I was talking about, when the computer mysteriously powered up, lol Sounds like you've had some interesting experiences too!
Have you ever seen this video of Paul giving an interview where he was talking about John, and then he was interrupted and the photographer said "Sorry, a strange blue light just came on.." and Paul said, "It's ok, leave it in, it was John "
I like this video too, of Carl Perkins talking about how he wrote the song "My Old Friend" for Paul, and how he feels it was divinely inspired by John, for Paul

Leslie, that link to the “blue light” video doesn’t work! Really wanted to see that. ️
That other video I had seen before - spooky when Paul called in the middle of the interview!!

Here's a better link to the "blue light" video, Nancy... somehow it didn't paste right when I copied it into the URL box
And that was spooky when Paul called in the middle of the interview, lol
