Front row. $2350 Hot sound $1850 2nd row hot seat. $1350 Gold $950 Silver $700
What an insult...are these just the three shows in the city?
Apparently. I know Chicago was $1758 for Hot Sound Package and Duluth, GA was $1603.

The VIP prices have been climbing over the years anyway, but it is a complete slap in the face to pull these sorts of stunts on top of the astronomical prices. I appreciate that all the dates came out at once this year, but I can't think about Paul and his finances for too long or else I get quite angry.

I know what you mean. How much money does he need? I know he has 5 kids, 8 grandkids, and a wife, but his net worth is close to $1 billion already!

Announcement for the Brazilian concerts is expected to be made later today, with pre-sales starting tomorrow.

I've been watching these presales with a mix of interest and horror. I notice that there are still a lot of Amex presale tickets available at certain venues; What happens to those if they haven't been sold by the time the general sale starts? Do they become available to buy at that time even if you don't have an American Express card? And does anyone know if the Amex presale happens for UK shows? I might consider getting one just for that, because the fanclub tickets seem to be really difficult to get! Thanks : )
-
AppleMacca:
For everyone feeling disappointed that there haven't been dates added in your state yet, spare a thought for us poor sods in the UK who haven't had a single show on this whole tour since it started over a year ago...and still nothing!!
Its only been a couple of years since his last shows here in the UK,i'd be amazed if he tours here in the UK this year.
-
But he did a load of US dates last year, and now there's a load more...why would the UK get such short shrift?? If there are no UK dates again this year I would be VERY disappointed

Any pre-sale tickets that are left become available when the general sale starts. That is why pre-sales end before the regular sale starts.

Not only that, he played in France, Norway, Denmark & The Netherlands last year & the year before that. The whole "He played there last year so he's not coming this year" point has rarely been true so I don't see why he's not playing in the UK. Especially considering how well received his shows were in 2015!

hi AppleMacca, there were quite a few of the sound check tickets in Little Rock that went unsold last year. Friend of mine from Memphis ended up buying these for around $280 each the day before the show there. She made out good coz her group was invited onstage to meet Paul. $950 is about 250 more than I paid for Gold VIP in Little Rock last year. Since I have no plans on attending this leg of the tour, I wonder if it is only NYC where he has raised the prices??

Yes, it is. I know at least the Tampa show had the same VIP prices as last year.

Thanks for the pep talk - Much appreciated! : ) I would hope that having skipped the UK last year, he's MORE likely to play here this year, not less likely!!

Wow, your friend was really lucky to get those tickets at that price! I suppose sometimes its best not to panic buy right when the presale starts. But I expect that's what i'll do anyway

Interesting! I guess the bigger stops up north are getting the upcharge.

I believe Bob said Miami was higher also.

Oh...maybe I just didn't notice. I wasn't even attempting VIP for Tampa, just glanced at it...and I certainly won't be trying at MSG. I might have a group of four...I'll be taking whatever can get us in the door and sitting together for the lowest cost!

A guy I met in Memphis in 2013 got a center seat behind me in row E for regular price of $280. It was originally a Hot Sound Package seat for $1500. Now, mind you, he did not get to go to soundcheck or get any of the other perks. Just the good seat.
