I didn't see what was later moderated, but since the discussion suddenly shifted towards an earlier mentioned subject again, I think some of it was probably aimed at me, so just to clarify where we are standing: I never knocked any of Bob's hints, I have no reason to, often thanked him for it, and simply literally reacted to a question he asked. What he read in that and why he instantly went into attack and "pat on own back" mode instead of just honestly saying he didn't understand me is beyond me. Let's put it behind us as a misunderstanding, but if any user has an obnoxious tone I will keep continue fighting against that in the future.
The moderation had nothing to do with your posts. It was another poster.
Nancy I don't care about the name of the poster that was deleted but do you remember if it was a new member or what country they were from? Almost bought tickets to the Duluth show, some good ones came up today. When I checked the nearest airport that I could fly into it was 48 miles away, too far for a one off with this many shows closer.
Check your PMs.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming! What is this thread about? Oh, yeah, rumors. "Rumor has it" that Paul will appear on a Flaming Pie at the top of Mount Everest and sing Smile Away!

http://music.blog.austin360.com/2017/03/22/lollapalooza-lineup-well-take-lorde-the-xx-arcade-fire-for-acl-fest/ Paul at ACL? (He'd only be able to do the first weekend, so it seems unlikely to me)
That would just mean the vast majority of South Texans won't be able to get in to see him. Just do some shows at UT Erwin Center like before or the Freeman Colloseum in San Antonio where the Beatles played. Or why not a week's residency in Austin sometime, we are much hipper than Vegas and not so trite. why not? It's not like there is a wall here, Paul.

what if he played a show in San Antonio (AT&T Center or Alamodome) or Houston (Minute Maid Park or Toyota Center) on the 5th. He'd be playing to completely different crowds.

The Beatles never played in San Antonio. I doubt if John ever set foot in the city.

Ha! I heard that claim on a commercial for the venue. I bet they lied about Gene Autry too!! It's ok Paul just leave us here with our broken dreams!!
-
Julian Lennon played at a downtown San Antonio venue in 1985 where I saw him when I lived there. Maybe that's what they mixed up.
-
Paul hasn't done a proper San Antonio gig since '93! '14 at the Tobin Center I'd hardly count. Although available to public, it was a benefit and it was at a 1,000 seat venue with an abbreviated setlist
-
I was donated a ticket as one of the charity cases! It was awesome! There were a bunch of donated seats. He did Shakespeare and I about died! What a moment!

That's great, how many can claim to hear Macca do Shakespeare (I'm sure I'll find out here) This thread keeps going on, and endless amount of stories, possibilities and hopefully, substantiated rumors!! T :

ACL line-up announced, no McCartney.
-
My guess with tomorrow's on sales the additional shows at existing venues will be announced with either Amex presales tomorrow with a general onsale of Monday or just a Noon onsale for all tix. Hopefully more cities are announced too

I'd say that the two shows in neighboring Austin in 2013 are close enough.

July 15 is Bossier City, Louisiana, and July 19 is Wichita, Kansas... Looks like there may be a date available on July 17, so maybe he'll be adding another show then? My dream would be for him to visit Kansas City where I live on July 17... but since Wichita, Des Moines and Omaha are within 200 miles of KC, maybe that won't happen this year, and would be nice for my fellow Texas fans to get a show instead. Texas seems like a good choice because after the Louisiana show he'd have to travel through Texas anyway to go to Wichita

The concert in Colombia on October 26 is being considered as confirmed, just pending the official announcement. It will be Paul's first visit to the city of Medell?n. The concert in Panama on October 24 is expected to be announced soon as well. Perhaps they are waiting until the Brazilian sales are over before announcing these two shows.
