Paul McCartney 2017 Rumors

Bob, if it will be Europe in Nov/Dec., it will be only UK or he will play more venues in other European countries? in 2018 - tour will start in Australia, I think
Impossible to answer right now, everything dead quiet again! With the new album, I would think that he'd hit the usual suspects U.K., Germany and France at the very least. Of course even those are not a given at this point. We got lucky with the mass, advanced announcement for this round of shows. But for a long time that has not been the case so I don't know if we can expect the same if more shows are to come. If we go back to what is usually done, announcements could be as late as September/October . But again, nobody knows for sure except Paul and his people. Don't drive yourself crazy, if there will be any more shows then expect late announcements and if by chance they came earlier....than bonus!! But right now, very quiet. Not even a rumor involving Europe/UK.

Wow that's great if true ! 2018 marks a quarter of a century since Macca last played in Australia.

I don't know how excited I'd get on Australia. It may very well happen but it has gone beyond dead quiet in the last 7 months. You certainly have my hopes and prayers that it will happen

At this point with Miami date being moved, I would say cancels any hope of 2nd Miami or Tampa shows

Where does he play next? hope some setlist surprises are in store, the announcement about the new album is exciting

There are never too many changes so I wouldn't expect them. The July shows have not seen the One on One tour in those cities yet. But September/October appears to be when the new album comes and I would expect something from that thrown in.

It looks to be way too early to be looking ahead to 2018 just yet!!

It's safe to assume they'll be performing together for the concert. Hopefully Paul will show up but I don't know how likely that is

Robbie and Hamish are listed as being part of the "Finale Band," so they will definitely be performing together, along with Gary Brooker from Procol Harum and some others: http://www.concertatthekings.co.uk/the-finale-band/

Wow! I would not have known that was Hamish and Robbie unless you told me! Haven't seen pics of them since the mid '90s I guess!

If I got a wild hair up my tail and went to Georgia on the bus to Paul's concert there, with no ticket beforehand, chances are every single seat would be already snapped up even in the nose bleeds especially since reading the venue there isn't massive. Wish this would happen though Another "pilgrimage to Macca" (instead of to Mecca :wink ya know.
-
The billboard is already up promoting the September shows along the NJ Turnpike close to the Lincoln Tunnel exit for NYC. GOOD NIGHT TONIGHT from Pure McCartney was playing in my car when I saw it. Goosebumps.

Have you checked to see if there are any tickets left? If you come without a ticket, there is a chance someone would have one ticket for sale (at face value) outside the venue. As long as you aren't scalping them, it's legal here. I once sold 3 Destiny's Child tickets fairly easily outside Philips Arena in Atlanta. (My daughter's dad and I had simultaneously bought 3 tickets unbeknownst to each other and I got better seats, so sold the ones he bought)

Single tickets are always easier to come by...but you make a valid point. That's how I ended up driving from Chicago to Indianapolis and proceeded to have a view of Paul's butt from up on the second to last row of the venue. My complain is I was too far to get a great view

There is a single ticket in row D in the risers right next to the stage (Brian's side). Can't beat that! Go to axs.com & get it before it's gone.
