actually, if I am reading the prices right, they are not all that bad, compared to what some of the bands charge for their regular concerts, esp. the ones with VIP packages like Paul ,the Stones, and The Who.
I tend to agree. Except I have no desire to stand in a patch of sand for 12 hours at that price. Actually, for any price. But I get that this festival is geared toward a younger, festival crowd who do these things all the time.
Although the venue is in a desert location it's actually not a patch of sand, it's grass on a polo field.
In that case, I'm IN!!! :
When Paul played at Coachella my friend and I drove at 4AM to line up at the gate and then headed to Paul's stage to stake out a front spot, where we stayed all day until his set at 10:30PM. It was great seeing him from the front row but it was a lot of work and I don't think I'll do that again, especially not three days in a row. Anyway, I got your point, but I just think the situation this time will be less uncomfortable and I hope it won't be necessary to stand around all day. The performances are in the evening and those lucky enough to get reserved seats really won't have to get there hours and hours before the show. If I end up with GA behind all the seats, then.....yes, I guess I'll be hanging out for hours. It's a tough job being a music fan, but someone's got to do it. I hope you decide to go and I hope you have a great time.
I won't go, I have seen all these acts when they were younger and much better. Having said that, I was thinking on my way home from work yesterday, if a person had never seen these legends in concert, these three days would be the perfect situation to splurge, spend a few thousand dollars, and see them all at once. Get it out of the way!!!

"Neil Young Opens Memphis Show with 40-minute “Down By The River”" http://americansongwriter.com/2016/05/neil-young-opens-memphis-show-40-minute-river Haha, what a pairing! While the headliner doesn't even dare to bring out the majority of his solo hits.

I was reading they are building a "mini-stadium" just for this event. It also said that the venue will open at 2PM each day, and there will be single-day tickets available for $199.00.

Too bad Paul's playing the same day as Neil Young. Instead, they really should have had Dylan paired on the same day with Paul... NOBODY would dare criticize Paul's voice right after having listened to Bob Dylan sing for two hours. Compared to Dylan, Paul sounds like Pavarotti.

When WASN'T that the case???

Local radio by me (Chicago) is already playing promos for this. Their sound teaser for Paul is a live clip of "Can't Buy Me Love". I wonder if its from the last tour or the "Back In The US/World" release. If its recent, I'd like to hear more live soundboard cuts from "Out There"!

What you'll find is Neil guesting with Paul and/or vice versa. That's a given.

I'm thinking there will be guesting and or reunions/surprises on all 3 nights! Maybe Ringo joining Paul for a song or two. Or a Pink Floyd reunion. Obviously, with a concert the size and scope of this thing, anything is possible!
-
The video shows recent video of them all, except for Dylan - hehehe. If only Paul didn't have such a people-pleaser personality he'd pull a Neil Young. 40min version of Check My Machine anyone ?? hehe

Ringo will be away elsewhere around that time. But yes, I could see momentum build and others being roped in. There is a rider stipulates "lineup is subject to change."

No chance of a Pink Floyd reunion according to some recent comments by Roger Waters: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/roger-waters-on-the-wall-socialism-and-his-next-concept-album-20151102

That opening Joe Biden exchange is a scream!

Yes, Nick Mason is the key since he is friends with both Waters and Gilmour. And all three did appear together at the end of one of Waters Wall shows. It's not likely but it is possible.
