Indio, CA - Desert Trip Festival - Oct. 7-9+14-16 - ARCHIVE

I found "Rip It Up" on YouTube. Sounded like something Paul just threw out there on his own and stumped the band. Rusty, Brian, and Wix never joined in. Just Paul and Abe playing on it. I don't know if they couldn't find the key or what. It sounded very awkward. But still a cool selection! Glad to see him go out on a limb like that.

http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/7542055/rihanna-desert-trip-paul-mccartney-neil-young-festival "Toward the beginning of "Maybe I'm Amazed," maybe the most demanding number in his set, he struggled with a couple of notes, then rallied to deliver it with all the robust vigor it demands, as his keyboard player Wix Wickens laughed and clutched at his own throat in abject admiration." I noticed this before, I thought it was pretty weird, haha.

I've seen Wix do that too.

Nancy R:
Can you watch the videos later or do you have to watch them live on Periscope?
You can watch later but not a lot later. I don't think they stay available for that long.
No, no -- if the user puts "#save" in the titles, they stay forever. You can't see it in the actual title as a viewer, but you can click on their name and get the side menu (on a computer, don't know about phones!!) and if you see older videos from even a few days or maybe weeks ago, you know that person uses the save command and the periscopes will be there later for viewing. That last periscope link posted for desert show, wef? or whatever it was, he does have a list that goes back a few days, so his will be available. But yeah, if they don't do the #save the videos are only for 24 hours. Fortunately more people are learning about that coding!!!!

Thanks for explaining.

It was so good to see Paul in the desert again. His show was wonderful, loved the choices, and it brought back fond memories of his show at Coachella Music Festival several years ago. Desert Trip was a great and unique experience!

I'm not Jude, but it was Fresno in April. I was there.
