A Rabbi Meets Paul

Interesting and heartwarming. Thanks for this, Nancy R. I'd add to what Paul said about "merit" that he had/has oodles of talent, blessed with that; but he is too humble to ascribe all his success to it. Which speaks very well of him.
And of course, he practiced a lot and developed and increased his talents. Lennon's tremendous abilities augmented and inspired his own, and vice versa.
And of course Paul had an extensive close knit warm, loving family of relatives, his beloved Dad and Mum paramount among them, and his brother.
I'm glad the rabbi didn't ask Paul to meet his son. He wasn't pushy to that extent.

Great article, thanks for sharing, Nancy!
I think this shows Paul in a very good way. He appears humble, grateful, and very kind.
Because of who he is, I understand why he'd want to guard himself a bit and he probably can't be open and truly himself with every fan or admirer he encounters, but I think this article captures the essence of who he is. He seems spiritually aware that kindness and love is what helps people, and makes the world a better place.

Sorry, Rabbi. Letting someone sing your song is not an act of charity. He still got paid, and the Beatles also recorded it. Paul is correct. His family has more to do with his success.
