Paul's just doing these concerts to warm up before the important ones scheduled for South America in January
Get ready for the nasty replies!

And both of you guys have been more than nice with the announcements of these shows. ...
Oobu, you along with Nancy are my favorite Americans on this forum Are you attending any of the US concerts?
No, I don't think so. I wish he'd come to Chicago in December! Thanks Javi.

Can anyone get me a free VISA to Canada?
Yeah, but you'd have to marry me first! (btw, thanks for the nice comments in your other post about me & oobu24!)
I'll do it only if we can get married in Vegas with a Rabbi dressed up as Elvis

That time when McCartney has scheduled performances is so much better .
-
Looks like it's a tour! Or a tour-ette!! Look's like McCartney has "tour-ette's" syndrom!!!
-
Great to see him back on the road and clearly enjoying himself...

And from Houston to Vancouver there are many markets Paul could play, like San Antonio, Albuquerque, El Paso, Tucson, San Diego, Fresno, Boise and Portland. Some of these places he has never played, and some he has not been to in decades. I sure hope more dates are announced. Still, I am very happy for those folks in markets where McCartney concerts have been announced. ROCK ON!!
-
YES! Here we go again. Can't wait to see where else is announced! (how about San Diego?)

Really cool about the new announcements and glad they're areas he's not been to for ages. It's all about sharing the Macca! Does anyone know if it's On The Run continued? Because I thought they were planning a brand new tour? I just hope that if it's still an On The Run tour there will still be quite a few setlist changes. Maybe the new tour will be saved until his album comes out and this is just in the mean time. It does, however, make me worry about his UK Christmas shows. Do you reckon he's abandoned them this year? I can just imagine lots of Liverpudians crying over their turkey because Macca didn't come and do a show. I really really really really hope there will be a show for his Liverpool (and London, too) either just before Christmas or soon after. It wouldn't make sense if Paul bypassed his own hometown.

Maybe he'll celebrate the holidays in the states this year. (wishfull thinking)

The announcements on the main website ID it as the On the Run tour

My sister reminded me of weather in the Midwest for the St. Louis show since I'm planning on driving. Her son was born on Nov. 8 and they drove to hospital in a snow storm. Please plan accordingly.

me too, well December is free so far, so here's hoping
-
I heard the brand new Barclays center in Brooklyn NY has two dates set aside-December 7th and 9th; this is rumored to be for The Rolling Stones 5oth Anniversary shows but who knows maybe it could be for Macca?
-
While i don't think they're be a massive amount of more dates added i cant help but feel more American dates will come in due course, while the On the Run tour has jagged here there and everywhere it'd make sense to add 8 to 10 more dates over there. I think the days of full scale world tours are at an end for Paul,he has to face facts that he's hit the big 70 and these shorter mini tours are seemingly suiting him better than the long haul of hotel after hotel night after night.

Paul was in Syracuse, NY this week with Nancy to visit a branch of a trucking firm her family owns & then were sighted in Skaneateles...there's a rumor that there was also a visit to Syracuse University - possibly a Carrier Dome concert in the works in December???
