Four months after Paul closed Candlestick, this is how it looks now, as it awaits demolition: http://sf.curbed.com/archives/2014/12/01/drone_photos_reveal_a_ghostly_candlestick_torn_up_and_awaiting_demolition.php
That's a trip! Especially considering there were over 50,000 people there at Paul's concert just a few months ago.

Life goes on. SF now has a much better venue for both concerts and baseball games, AT&R Park (where I saw Paul in 2010). The 'stick has sentimental value, but that's about all. And SF could use the housing.

The following is a video documentary of "Our Journey Out There." Throughout the Summer of 2014, the "Fam On The Run" documented our journey leading up to the magical nights of August 10, 2014 and August 14, 2014, including some footage from Paul at the Fargodome in Fargo, North Dakota on July 12, 2014. Paul McCartney rocked Dodger Stadium and Candlestick Park during his "Out There" World Tour! The "Fam On The Run" documentary is told by US fans from three generations in one family through various different experiences during our journey "Out There." These are NEW memories we will cherish forever! We hope you will enjoy viewing it as a small token of our gratitude for Paul's indelible influence on our lives. Through the passage of time, it truly is one of the bonds that ties us together.
Cool video!! Lots of fun!

For those who might have missed on getting the special Candlestick Park t-shirt or hoodie commemorating the August concert, Paul's website recently put them on sale! Here's the link for the t-shirt: http://paulmccartney.shop.bravadousa.com/Product.aspx?cp=16558_68595&pc=BGCTPM162 And the hoodie: http://paulmccartney.shop.bravadousa.com/Product.aspx?cp=16558_68595_34707&pc=BGCMPM19

I'd say a few thousand folks "missed out."

About time, those shirts were scarce at the concert and are being sold for ridiculous prices on eBay. I managed to buy one of the other designs at the show, but I know a few people who couldn't get any shirts at all. And yes I know there were all those people who couldn't even get into the show let alone worry about a shirt. Thanks for letting us know!

Are those the only official tees available? I remember seeing punters with much nicer ones at the concert. Presumably those all went... Anybody got images of alt tees/hoodies sold on the night? If this is the best I can get, I will buy. Any images/text on the back of the t-shirts???

These designs that are up now were the only official ones that said anything about Candlestick on them that I saw. I think there was also a sweatshirt with the exact same design as the T-shirt, but those aren't up on the site. There were some different ones being offered by street vendors that weren't official that folks were selling outside of the park as well that night.

I seem to remember at the concert that there was a shirt with a black version of the logo. As for the shirt that's being offered on Paul's site, there's nothing printed on the back. Just the red logo you see on the front.

I think that black one was a street vendor version not an official one. I saw them being sold outside when we were walking to the car after the show.

There is an official grey shirt with a black logo. I bought mine inside the park at an official vendor.

Ah, thank you, I hadn't seen that one at all, just the other grey one and the "bootleg" version!

Ordered a t shirt. Seemed only right seeing I was there, and moaned about not getting any merchandise, at the time.
