Most new cameras will also take videos. We recently had a "camera" thread here...people were making suggestions & reminding us all to meter off his face during the show. Those bright lights are terrible. edit to add link http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=88637&start=105

I can't believe we're one week away!
I know! I'm so excited! I actually won a trip to San Francisco for the show and to meet Paul. So, I'm off the chart excited for next week.

I did actually win a contest...but I also made a charitable donation. Here's the linky: http://www.prizeo.com/prizes/paul-mccartney/the-ultimate-concert-experience I'm still in shock, though. I don't think it's totally sunk in yet. LOL
That's totally amazing, especially that you get to meet him! CONGRATULATIONS!

I can never get a hold of anyone at the venue. I think now that the stadium isn't being used, no one is at the box office. All I get are voicemails. I have called at least a half dozen ticket scalping companies asking about seating, and no one knows.
Try the concert promoter -Another Planet I think is their name - maybe they can help?

Wow, so that was YOU? I got the email afterwards announcing the winner, it had your name and that you were from Boston, MA. I am very happy for you. Congratulations!!

Oh of course. I'll probably live Tweet from the show. That is, if I can even remember what the hell Twitter is whilst in Paul's presence. LOL
Congrats on winning! But please don't be bothered with tweeting!!! Just put your phone away and enjoy the experience of Paul live, right in front of you! Twitter will still be there when the show is over.

I was able to reach someone at Candlestick this morning and asked a few questions. She was very nice and I assume she is correct. 1) Clear bag NFL rule will be in affect. Small clutch or clear bags only. No large purses or backpacks. I asked if a ladies small crossover bag would be allowed and she said it depends on security, but if it were her it would probably by ok. The rule is mainly in place to make sure no one brings in something not allowed and make passing through security faster. 2) Parking lot opens at 3. She said gates would open to the stadium at 5-5:30 but I'm sure that will depend on when soundcheck is over. I haven't received information on that yet. (I forgot to ask how much parking will be, probably around $30) 3) She was not so confident about floor seating because the promoter is in charge of that but she was told rows would be 30 seats across and seat 1 would be on the left if facing the stage.

Thanks so much kitty55d! I was just about to call now that on I'm lunch but then saw this post. Ugh carrying stuff will not be fun at all. Now I'm wondering if they will even let cameras or signs in. Will be a bit scary having to carry all my stuff like wallet and such in a clear bag on public transportation. I've never been to a venue before that did not allow women to carry in purses. And if the numbering goes how she thinks I'll be at very end of the row. But hey I'll be there and have an awesome time, that I know for sure!

WOW...that is so cool!! You and your Mom are going to share the experience of your lives! Strange as it may sound, that is exactly 4 years to the day that my son and I got called up to the stage by Paul in Philadelphia...and it's still hard to believe it really happened! Once again, congratulations to you both...can't wait to hear all about it. Tom

Is there a definitive answer about which way the seats run in A2? All i hear is confusion... Other people selling tickets are twisting it to make their seats sound better. I have a high seat number in A2. I read earlier in this post about someone contacting crowdsurge and getting an answer from them.... They said "As you are FACING the stage, the seat numbers go right to left, with #1 being on the right. "
