Paul fell coming off the steps from the piano. I think I've just seen Macca live for the last time. But what a show...I've seen GOLDEN SLUMBERS my favorite Beatles song EVER I'm STILL crying. AMAZING show I LOVE HIM SO SO MUCH!!

I've said that after every PM concert I've seen since 2002 but I've been wrong every time. As hard as it might be to believe this might have been his best show yet. The audience was awesome and Paul and the band responded. I'm so glad I made the 6 hour drive!

This is what happened. Paul picked himself up and dusted off his pants and continued with the song. Made a joke about in his final good-bye. There was no Too Many People at the sound check.

I have seen Paul four times now. And -- believe me -- he never sang better in the previous three concerts than he did tonight. The man brought it tonight. That was the biggest surprise for me: He was Paul McCartney in nearly top vocal form. The show was short on setlist surprises, however, "Birthday" in the first encore was very unexpected.

I will save martinput the hassle, and say this thread now belongs to the concert reports ;).
Mod Post And to aid healthy debate on this Autumn's set-lists, and create a place where suggestions for set-list tweaks might be positively placed, I've launched a new topic here: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=85320 Let's keep this topic as the place where members that attended the show might post their personal tales, memories, photographs, YouTube uploads etc to form a lasting souvenir of the night. Others might like to add in specific show finds such as news reviews, other photographs and YouTube finds to build a comprehensive archive of the night. Martin

I remember some people saying he couldn't sing Maybe I'm Amazed any more. He sang it tonight and nailed it!

As expected, Paul was on FIRE tonight! My fifth true blue McCartney concert, and I don't regret it one bit! Well worth the $267 ticket price, and I'm SO thankful I made it out...even if there was only ONE new song in the set for me. I'll be all over the setlist discussion thread that has been made for this fall stint of dates. But I'll post a full set here, since it seems it hasn't been done in full yet...with tidbits *Pre-Show Notes - The merch is getting more and more overpriced...that was disgusting. I got the Union Jack Style T-Shirt with the dates on the back at $40. - The 2012 Lanyard at $15. - Metal Keychain for this leg. I get the plastic one for every tour, but this year's and last year's are identical, so I splurged! $15! I think there were difficulties with the pre-show music/screens because it repeated more than usual and it all went out at one point. The DJ was pointless, I don't know why he is there really. I think Paul took the stage at 8:24PM...I was expecting 8:20-ish. 1. Magical Mystery Tour- New Graphics with some things from the film 2. Junior's Farm 3. All My Loving 4. Jet 5. Drive My Car 6. Sing The Changes 7. The Night Before 8. Let Me Roll It 9. Paperback Writer 10.The Long and Winding Road 11.1985- This was EXTRA smokin' tonight! 12.Maybe I'm Amazed- and this was SO much better than I've ever heard. I hope a clip turns up. 13. I've Just Seen a Face- This was kinda weak, I think Maybe I'm Amazed took the wind outta him. 14. And I Love Her- Rusty messed up the solo, and Paul actually went back after the song and had Rusty replay the solo properly. 15. My Valentine- The only new song in the set for me..... 16. Blackbird 17. Here Today- One of those extra emotional performances for him... 18. Dance Tonight 19. Mrs. Vandebilt 20. Eleanor Rigby 21. Something 22. Band on The Run 23. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da 24. Back in the USSR 25. I've Got a Feeling 26. A Day in The Life/ Give Peace a Chance 27. Let it Be 28. Live and Let Die 29. Hey Jude ENCORE 30. Lady Madonna 31. Birthday- The only real "surprise" of the evening to me. 32. Day Tripper 33. Get Back ENCORE 34. Yesterday 35. Helter Skelter 36. Golden Slumbers 37. Carry That Weight 38. The End

Only new song that hasn't been played in the States in concert before was "My Valentine". In rehearsal last night they did "Hope of Deliverance", but it wasn't played at the show. "Birthday" was nice. No real surprises. Paul sounded great. He enjoyed the signs in the audience. Noone was brought up on stage. The scare of the night was when Paul came off the piano after "Golden Slumbers" he had a complete wipeout. Went straight down. From the floor we couldn't see him, but it took several seconds for him to get up. He seemed to have landed on his wrist. He carried on, and then joked about the intentional fall. Seemed okay, but it may be sore tomorrow. One great thing was Rusty messing up the solo on "And I Love Her", and Paul making him do it over. Paul said he had never heard Rusty mess up the solo, and had fun embarassing Rusty. Rusty took it in good humour. We all enjoyed it. Podgie (shows over...now for St Louis Blues) Monkey

But everyone went crazy for HOD...and now that's gone too.
I guess he considers that one more suitable for Latin American countries, just like "mull of kintyre" for Scottish audiences.
I hope it will be back in the setlist for European audiences! I love Hope of Deliverance!

thrilled my Stubhub tix worked and we were in A5, seats 3 & 4, at $415 apiece. Our view was incredible. My daughter had the time of her life. The set list was very similar to Wrigley last summer, but I really missed "I'm Down" (a personal theme song, my youngest has Down Syndrome) and "I saw Her Standing There" for my daughter with me to hear. Could have lived without 'Every Night' And 'Eleanor Rigby, also 'Sing the Changes', there are much better Fireman songs. But we all have our own tastes. All in all, a night to remember, so close I could feel the heat from the pyro during Live and Let Die, which was again amazing. Wish Paul would lose the suspenders ) [/img]

That is not an overstatement.

Every Night wasn't played.>> My mistake, meant 'Dance Tonight', too many songs better than that IMO.

That is great to hear -- I mean that he sang so well, not that the set was short on surprises. I hope his wrist is OK.

So far this is the only video I could find this morning
