The kids in my daughter's school can't relate either, but the teachers can! They all love her Beatles obsession and told me in a parent-teacher conference that they think she is a really cool kid because she's not afraid to be different--the only kid in 7th grade who carries an Abbey Road backpack and Beatles lunchbox. I get a kick out of my 12-year-old complaining about "today's music."

I always get that and have it bad. This time is no exception. I do have wonderful memories, pictures and lots of confetti!

It's not quite as good as being there, but watching a YouTube playlist of the concert on our big-screen TV sure is fun. What a night...what a show...what an amazing man.

I think it was mentioned somewhere on this thread about the fan passing out at the show, and being carried away from his seat by security. Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the gentleman passed away at the hospital he was admitted too. He was the father of one of my co-workers friends. I was on vacation from work last week, and just heard the sad news this morning at work. My thoughts and prayers are with the deceased gentleman's family.

Whoa! I hadn't heard about this, but I'm terribly sorry for what happened to him, and feel for his family and friends, especially at this time of year.

I wasn't aware either. This may come across as insensitive, but I mean it: There aren't many better ways to go.
